    • PURPOSE:To execute simultaneously a granulating stage and extrusion processing stage and to reduce a cost by melting a metallic material then pulverizing said metal, conveying the pulverized metal in a passage formed of a rotary wheel and stationary shoe and extruding the metal under the pressure through a die. CONSTITUTION:The metallic material 9 in a crucible 12 is melted by a heating element 10 and is discharged from a nozzle 13 in the bottom of the crucible 12; at the same time, gaseous nitrogen or the like is ejected from a gas nozzle 8 to pulverize the metallic material 9. The pulverized material 9 is brought into collision against the cooled rotary wheel 1, by which the material is quickly cooled. The cooled material is moved in an arrow direction in the passage 5 of a prescribed gaseous atmosphere delineated of a hollow groove 2 of the rotary wheel 1 and the stationary shoe 3. The material 9 moved to a sealing projection 15 is pressurized by the pressing force of the succeeding material 9 and is extruded through the die 4 toward a material extrusion port 6, by which an extruded material 7 is formed. Since the melting, quick pulverization and extrusion processing of the material 9 are executed within one device, the improved efficiency of production and the reduced material cost are obtd. and the product having high toughness and high corrosion resistance is produced.

    • PURPOSE:To extrusion-mold a pipe, simplify the apparatus and improve productivity by pouring molten metal in the container sleeve in a perpendicular state, heating and controlling the same to a half-molten state then conveying the same to the extruding device and horizontally rotating it. CONSTITUTION:A container sleeve 12 whose inside diameter is of taper form and whose inside diameter is of tubular form is placed perpendicularly. Next, a disc- form dummy block 33 fixed with mandrel 34 at its bottom is disposed. Thence, molten metal is poured and is kept at the temperature lower than the molten metal temperature or is heated and controlled to a half-molten state or partially solidified state by a heater 32. This is conveyed to the extruding device, is put in a container 11, and is put horizontally in the extrusion axis direction by rotating a holder 4. Next, a die holder 13 is moved by a cylinder 20 so that the end of a die 16 is fitted into the opening of the sleeve 12. Following to this, a ram 25 is advanced to align the head part of a stem 29 to a dummy block 33 and the extruded pipe is thus formed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solidified molding machine, which can prevent deterioration in durability, reduces energy loss, and forms a molding of high quality in a short period of time. SOLUTION: A slurry outlet 26 of a 2nd sleeve 22 is closed with a stopper 3 in a state that the side of a metal pouring port 25 of the 2nd sleeve 22 is directed upward. Molten metal M is poured into the 2nd sleeve 22 and transformed into semi-solidified metal slurry under a state that a predetermined electromagnetic field is applied to the 2nd sleeve 22 by a stirring part 1. After a 1st plunger 52 is inserted into the metal pouring port 25, the 2nd sleeve 22 is turned to connect the slurry outlet 26 to a slurry inserting port 24 of the 1st sleeve 21. The slurry outlet 26 communicates with the slurry inserting port 24 by the stopper 3.
