摘要： A door lock includes a casing mounted in a bare of a door. The casing includes inner and outer coupling seats to which inner and outer mounting plates are mounted respectively. The outer coupling plate includes two diametrically opposed slots located outside the bore of the door. The inner mounting plate includes a plurality of pairs of diametrically opposed holes. The inner mounting plate is rotatable relative to the inner coupling seat to a position in which one of the plurality of pairs of holes is aligned with the slots. Two mounting posts are extended through the slots and through two through-holes in the door. Each mounting post is slideably received in one of the slots, allowing the mounting posts to move toward or away from each other until a spacing between the mounting posts is equal to that between the two through-holes of the door.

The multi-function tang is configured for rotation along a rotational path, the rotation being limited by the rotational stop. The lock retention feature is positioned to engage the retention slot when the spindle guide is in the locked position to thereby retain it in the locked position.

A peripheral wall delimiting a central hole of the inside rose liner includes at least one pair of notches. A reinforcing ring is mounted round the inside seat and inside the inside rose liner. The reinforcing ring includes two tabs each having a distal end received in a respective groove of the inside seat, preventing relative rotation between the reinforcing ring and the main body. Two positioning posts extend from an outside rose liner mounted around the outside seat. Two fasteners extend through the reinforcing ring and the inside rose liner into screw holes of the positioning posts, thereby securing the reinforcing ring, the inside rose liner, and the outside rose liner together. The torque-resisting capacity is thus improved.

摘要： The present mechanism provides a quick install lockset mechanism having a semi-permanent mechanical connection between an interior lock assembly and an exterior lock assembly. The exterior lock assembly includes a pair of threaded fasteners extending through a preformed hole in a door, and the interior lock assembly includes a rose liner configured to rotatably engage the fasteners to connect the interior and exterior lock assemblies. The interior lock assembly rose liner includes a pair of raised contoured portions having openings for receiving the fasteners and ramps for guiding the fasteners to the openings. In addition, the interior lock assembly includes a knob insert and a turnpiece guide. The knob insert is disposed in the knob and the turnpiece guide is removably disposed in the knob insert. A turnpiece is disposed in the turnpiece guide and is thereby aligned with an operating member extending from a lock cylinder in the exterior lock assembly. As the interior knob assembly is connected to the exterior knob assembly, the turnpiece guide is pushed out of the knob insert, thereby freeing the turnpiece for co-rotation with the lock cylinder-operating member.
