摘要： A tie-type security seal having a seal body (1) with internal locking teeth (5) in a tunnel (2) and an elongate element (11) having a series of sealing formations (14) therealong. The free end (13) of the elongate element (11) may be passed through the tunnel (2) so that the sealing formations (14) successively cooperate with the teeth (5) on tightening the loop so formed. According to the invention, a locking accessory (9) integral with the seal body (1) is formed with a through opening (15) having a shape substantially identical to the cross section of the elongate element (11) and at least one flexible edge part (16) to adjust itself to the differences in the said cross section in the regions of the regions of the sealing formations. The accessory (9) is foldable with respect to the seal body (1) so that the through opening (15) is superimposed on the open outlet (4) of the tunnel (2) in the seal body. When the seal is closed, the accessory (9) together with the body (cross section) of the elongate element (11) totally blocks the outlet of the tunnel (2), preventing attempts at violation.

摘要： A bi-directional locking socket for use with a seal device which includes a shackle having a plurality of locking elements on a surface thereof. The socket comprises a locking insert forming a locking arrangement including a body defining a chamber therein. The locking insert further includes opposing top and bottom ends where the top end defines a top opening communicating with the chamber, and the bottom end defines a bottom opening communicating with the chamber. A plurality of mirror image spaced fingers define a passageway extending through the chamber. The plurality of fingers allow passage of the locking elements as a free end of the shackle is pulled through the passageway via either the top or the bottom openings in opposite insertion directions, and lock with a locking element of the shackle when the shackle movement is in an opposite direction to the insertion direction. In the alternative, the socket has a chamber with the locking arrangement formed one piece therewith.

摘要： The lockable tamper-evident device is suitable for securing a closure member in its closed position to an article. The device comprises a pair of arms (1, 1') which are movable between an open position in which the arms (1, 1') are engagable with an article and/or a closure member, and a locked-closed position in which disengagement of the arms from the article and/or the closure member is prevented by engagement of a cooperable locking means. Preferably, the arms (1, 1') are engagable with a projection (7, 7') extending either from the article and through an opening in the closure member or from the closure member and through an opening in the article. Preferably, the cooperable locking means (8, 10, 11, 12) is carried by the arms (1, 1'), activation of the locking means (8, 10, 11, 12) being brought about by movement of the arms (1, 1') to the locked-closed position. In the locked-closed position removal of the closure member is prevented by engagement of the arms (1, 1') with the article and/or the closure member.
