Immersion area includes at least three longitudinal ribs arranged to project radially outwardly and symmetrically distributed on a circumference of the immersion area, and longitudinal ribs include thread-cutting segments. After inserting immersion area into cylindrical inlet, longitudinal ribs are rotated relative to the support body, whereby thread-cutting segments at least partially cut threads into the at least three eccentric segments to couple drive shaft to support body. A sleeve is secured upon the spindle and an outer shell is rotatably mounted upon the sleeve and retained thereon and includes a nut. A conical recess within the inner bore surface at the forward end of the spindle defines an axial bearing and receives a centering cone on the tool holder for maintaining an axial self alignment of the tool holder and spindle. Spaced threaded segments upon the tool holder are threadedly engaged by the nut for axially anchoring the tool holder upon the spindle and for biasing the centering cone into engagement with the spindle bearing.

摘要： A setting tool for screwing a threaded rod into a receiving material includes a work driver formed by a sleeve-like member. A retainer part is secured within one end of the sleeve-like member for holding the threaded rod while it is inserted. The end of the threaded rod located in the retainer part bears against a piston positioned within the sleeve-like member. A hydraulic medium holds the piston against the end of the threaded rod so that the rod is held in the work driver. After a threaded rod has been set, the rod can be removed from the retainer part by relieving the pressure of the hydraulic medium acting on the piston. The pressure is built-up as the threaded rod is screwed into the receiving material. The pressure is released by opening a valve connected to the space in the sleeve-like member containing the piston and hydraulic medium.
