摘要： A load control system for controlling the amount of power delivered from an AC power source to a plurality of electrical load includes a plurality of independent units responsive to a broadcast controller. Each independent unit includes at least one commander and at least one energy controller for controlling at least one of the electrical loads in response to a control signal received from the commander. The independent units are configured and operate independent of each other. The broadcast controller transmits wireless signals to the energy controllers of the independent units. The energy controllers do not respond to control signals received from the commanders of other independent units, but the energy controllers of both independent units respond to the wireless signals transmitted by broadcast controller. The energy controller may operate in different operating modes in response to the wireless signals transmitted by the broadcast controller.

摘要： A real time vehicle safety alert system for monitoring and alerting of hazards proximate a traveling vehicle includes an alert module in data communication with a processor and memory. The alert module may be positioned in a vehicle and in data communication with the vehicle's computer. A global position system is in communication with the processor for determining a current global position associated with the alert module. A receiver is in data communication with the processor and configured to receive alert signals from remote sources. The processor causes the receiver to receive an alert signal and to determine the type of emergency and a global position associated with the received signal. If the alert signal is within a predetermined distance of the position of the alert module, an associated alert message is published to the alert module. If the vehicle computer senses an emergency, a transmitter transmits an alert message.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving a broadcast signal in a digital broadcast system. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a main signal using main data; generating an additional signal, the power of which is lower than that of the main signal, using a plurality of additional data; generating an additional signal frame using the additional signal and a frame header; and generating a broadcast signal using the main signal and an additional signal frame. The frame header is used in selectively extracting the plurality of additional data from the additional signal frame. According to the present invention, additional data can be efficiently transmitted while maintaining compatibility with existing digital broadcasting systems.
