    • PURPOSE: A destination setting method of a car navigation system, and a device are provided to increase the using frequency of the car navigation system by easily searching and setting a destination. CONSTITUTION: A destination setting method of a car navigation system is as follows: Ordinary language information about a destination is input(S301). The ordinary language information in which searching key words are input is analyzed and extracted(S302). The extracted searching key words are set as a searching condition, and a key factor corresponded with the searching key words is searched(S304). The destination basic information corresponded to the key factor information is searched and output(S305,S306). One destination is selected among the output destination list, and displayed(S307).

The monitor displays the information for a driver or a user. The pointing device is ring-shaped to be fit to the finger of the driver and includes an embedded antenna and a position sensor. The embedded antenna transmits information to the GPS antenna wirelessly to be linked with the navigation device. The position detective sensor detects the position of the pointing device and includes a direction sensor and a tilt sensor. The direction sensor detects left and right directions of the pointing device. The tilt sensor detects tilt information.

Set destination coordinates information is transmitted from an application of the smart phone to the navigation terminal. The transmitted information is indicated(S150). The steps forming the mobile network are as follows. Whether or not the smart phone is registered in the navigation terminal is decided(S120). If the smart phone is not registered, whether or not to register is requested(S130). In case of being refused registration, a manual mode is set(S142).
