    • A voltage detection integrated circuit including a voltage regulation circuit for controlling the operation thereof is provided. The voltage detection integrated circuit includes a reference voltage circuit for producing a predetermined reference voltage, a voltage converter for converting a detected voltage for measurement and a comparator circuit for comparing the level of the reference voltage to the level of the converted voltage and for producing a comparison signal representative of the difference in voltage levels compared thereby. The voltage regulation circuit is coupled to the comparator circuit and the reference voltage circuit and/or voltage conversion circuit for selectively adjusting the level of the reference voltage produced by the reference voltage circuit and/or the converted voltage produced by the voltage converter, to thereby control the comparison signal produced by the comparator circuit.

    • A voltage regulating circuit for supplying a regulated voltage to an electronic circuit of an electronic timepiece. The voltage regulating circuit is comprised of an N-MOS and a P-MOS transistor pair connected in series with drains and gates connected together at a common junction, and a constant current source for providing a constant current through the transistor pair for developing the regulated voltage thereacross. The constant current source is comprised of a third MOS transistor connected in series with the transistor pair, and a biasing circuit for biasing the third MOS transistor to provide a constant current through the transistor pair. The voltage regulating circuit and the electronic circuit of the electronic timepiece are both integrated circuits formed on a common integrated circuit chip.

    • Disclosed are an oscillation circuit (10) and a constant-voltage generation circuit (100). The oscillation circuit comprises: an amplifier group comprising a plurality of signal inversion amplifiers (14-1 - 14-3) formed by transistors (16, 18) having different threshold voltages, one which can be selected for use; and a feedback circuit having a crystal resonator (12). The constant-voltage generation circuit comprises: a constant-current power source (110) one end which is connected to a first potential side; a plurality of control transistors (114-1 - 114-3) each having one end connected to the constant-current power source and another end to an output line; an operational amplifier (112) having one terminal connected to the node between the constant current source and the control transistors whereas a given reference voltage (Vref) is applied to the other input; and an output transistor (116) having one end connected to the constant-voltage output line side, and having its resistance controlled by the output of the operational amplifier (112), whereby the potential of the constant-voltage output line is controlled to be constant.
