    • A surface testing equipment comprises a holder for holding a specimen to be tested at a predetermined location; a test probe mounted for recoil movement away from the predetermined location in a predetermined direction; means for urging the test probe towards the predetermined location; means for oscillating either the holder or the test probe so as to cause, in use, repeated impacts between the test probe and a specimen; and means for monitoring the position of the test probe. The testing equipment is capable of being used for surface toughness testing or adhesion testing depending upon the nature of the specimen and the mode of operation of the equipment. One such method comprises the steps of: (a) mounting the specimen in a holder; (b) urging a test probe which is capable of recoil movement away from the specimen into contact with the specimen; (c) oscillating either the specimen holder or the test probe so as to cause repeated impacts between the specimen and the test probe; and (d) monitoring the position of the test probe whilst the specimen or the test probe is being oscillated.

    • PURPOSE: A digital device for measuring concrete strength is provided to display a measured strength value by converting the value into the digital value with a digital converter so that a user can confirm the value much easier. CONSTITUTION: A digital device for measuring concrete strength comprises a strike rod(10), a bolt(20), a resistance sensor(40), a digital converter(60), and a display(70). The strike rod hit on a concrete surface. The bolt is backwardly by a repulsive force being transmitted from the strike rod. The resistance sensor measures a distance in which the bolt is moved from an initial position to backward. The digital converter converts a measurement value of the resistance sensor into a predetermined correspondence value. The display outputs the converted value of the digital converter.

    • The present invention relates to an automatic hitting point marking and vertical auxiliary apparatus for a Schmidt hammer, wherein the apparatus comprises: a Schmidt hammer including a body, a housing installed at the body, and a hitting rod installed to reciprocate in the housing and hitting a wall; a spacer coupled around the housing of the Schmidt hammer; an operating part coupled around the spacer and supporting the Schmidt hammer to move toward the hitting rod; a fixing part fixed to the operating part and the spacer and fixing the operating part around the spacer; a supported plate coupled to the end of the operating part and supported on the wall; and a marking part installed at the operating part and marking the next hitting point when the hitting rod of the Schmidt hammer hits the wall. Therefore, the marking part automatically marks the next hitting point by being linked with the hitting rod of the Schmidt hammer when the hitting rod of the Schmidt hammer hits one point on the wall in order to measure the strength of the wall so that a worker needs not to mark a point using chalk separately; the impact of the hitting rod is accurately transmitted to the wall so that the accurate rebound hardness test value of the wall can be obtained; and the apparatus can be simply installed at the housings of various Schmidt hammers.

CONSTITUTION: An indicator(20) of Schmidt rebound test hammer comprises a frame(30) and a guide rod fixing unit(40). The frame has a frame body(31) with a guide rod hole(32). The guide rod hole guides a guide rod(10). The guide rod fixing unit is coupled to one surface of the frame. The guide rod fixing unit is composed of a main body(41), a frame fixing piece(42), a guide rod support piece(43), a guide rod support surface(44), and a horizontal piece(45). The main body is mounted on support protrusions(35). The frame fixing piece is mounted on a frame fixing piece mounting surface(38). The guide rod support piece is vertically formed in one side of the main body. The guide rod is mounted on the guide rod support surface. The horizontal piece is inclinedly formed in one end of the main body.
