摘要： The deterioration of an exhaust gas purification catalyst is suppressed as ranch as possible. An exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine comprising: a throttle valve; a turbocharger; an exhaust gas purification catalyst; a bypass passage; a turbo bypass valve (TBV); and a controller. The controller is configured to carry out fuel out processing and deterioration suppression control. In the deterioration suppression control, when a temperature of the exhaust gas purification catalyst is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature in the course of the execution of the fuel cut processing, the degree of opening of the TBV becomes smaller, and the degree of opening of the throttle valve becomes larger, than when the temperature of the exhaust gas purification catalyst is lower than the predetermined temperature in the course of the execution of the fuel cut processing.

摘要： A compact Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system comprising a system inlet, a gas flow system and a plurality of catalyst clusters is described. The system inlet is configured to utilize heat of the cleaned exhaust to vaporize a solution of a reductant, or a precursor of a reductant, and to mix the vaporized reductant with exhaust gas to form a mixed gas. The gas flow system is configured to provide the mixed gas from the system inlet to a plurality of catalyst clusters and to provide heat from the exhaust gas to assist in vaporization of the reductant/precursor and to assist in the conversion of the precursor to the reductant. The plurality of catalyst clusters comprise SCR and ASC catalysts but can also include filter functionality.

摘要： A vehicle exhaust system is provided and comprises a catalyst positioned in an exhaust passage of a vehicle. The catalyst is in the form of a washcoat supported on a substrate. The system includes a phase change material located adjacent to the catalyst to maintain the temperature of the catalyst between engine shut-down and subsequent start-up as well as to regulate the temperature during engine operation. In some embodiments, the phase change material comprises particles of a metal or metal alloy encapsulated in a ceramic material. The metal or metal alloy is adapted to have a phase change that occurs within a temperature range wherein the catalyst is active.

With the vacuum generating device, a vacuum can be generated in the intermediate space. Through arrangement of a filler material, such as a support structure and/or of a fiber material and/or of a foam, in the intermediate space the stability of the hollow jacket can be improved.

The first reference surface has an average height of the outer surface of the surface coating layer. The convex portions are located on peripheral edge portions of the concave portions and surround the concave portions.

The outer shell engages with its inlet flange-side edge around the guide plate and is joined to the inlet flange and the guide plate.
