    • A latch assembly for releasably securing a first member in a closed position relative to a second member is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a housing, a handle, and a lock barrel. The housing is adapted for attachment to one of the first member and the second member. The handle is pivotally attached to the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The handle causes the latch assembly to open when the handle is moved to the open position. The lock barrel is supported by the handle. The lock barrel is adapted for being selectively rotated between locked and unlocked positions by a user using a key. The lock barrel has two projections that are positioned to interfere with and substantially prevent the movement of the handle to the open position when the lock barrel is in the locked position.

    • The invention relates to a door fitting which is adapted for mounting the handle and the support on opposite sides of the exterior paneling of a door. The support comprises a bearing axle. Between the support and the handle two knee levers are disposed which consist of lever arms that can be coupled pair-wise, namely a handle arm on both handle ends and a bearing arm on both support ends. The bearing arms are configured as a pre-assembly together with the bearing axle and the support. The handle arms are inserted through two openings in the exterior paneling of the door and are linked with the bearing arms via coupling means, a screw securing the engaged position. The aim of the invention is to make assembly of such a door fitting easier. To this end, the back knee lever is provided with members which can be inserted one into the other and whose inserted position is secured by the screw. The counter-member is provided with a pocket into which the securing screw engages for the purpose of securing. Said securing screw further retains the spring-loaded bearing arms in a defined pre-assembly position vis-à-vis the support, thereby facilitating the coupling of the insertable members and counter-members.

CONSTITUTION: An outdoor handle comprises a handle housing(20) fixed to an outer panel of vehicle door; an outer handle(10) which opens/closes the vehicle door by permitting an upper surface of the outer handle to be attached/detached to/from the handle housing; and a check valve(30) for permitting smooth operation of the outer handle. The outer handle has a guide protrusion(11) protruded from the rear surface of the outer handle. The handle housing has an insertion hole(21) for insertion of the guide protrusion formed at the outer handle. The check valve has a lead-in part(31) for introduction of the guide protrusion formed at the outer handle, and an inlet part(32) and an outlet hole(33) for introducing or discharging air in accordance with the state of introduction of the guide protrusion. The inlet part of the check valve, has a shield plate(34) for allowing air to be discharged through the outlet hole by cutting off the air being introduced into the check valve during introduction of the guide protrusion, and allowing air to be introduced into the check valve by opening the inlet part during extraction of the guide protrusion.
