摘要： The reflective insulation unit has a rigid frame (2) consisting of a four-sided corrugated cardboard structure which is generally rectangular in cross-section, the top (4) and bottom (6) being sized to closely fit within the dimensions of a construction bay. Multiple sheets of paper and foil (16, 18) are attached to the inside surfaces (12, 14) of the sides so that the sheets are parallel to the top and bottom of the frame and to each other with a fixed spacing between the sheets. For shipping and storage purposes the frame may be folded at the corners and flattened so that the sides become parallel with the top, bottom and sheets. For installation, with the sides at right angles to the top and bottom, end pieces consisting of corrugated cardboard of the same dimension as the cross-section of the frame with tabs or flaps (23, 24, 25) folded at its edges are inserted into the open ends of the frame forming the fifth and sixth sides of a box and creating a self-framed insulating unit. The completed insulating unit may be set in place between the beams of the structure without any means of fastening to the beam, but merely a support to prevent the unit from falling.

摘要： A sub-roof sheathing (4) is combined with two web members (5 and 6) manufactured from paper/cardboard. The entire unit may be folded into a compact, elongated package which may, if desired, be folded transversally. One web member (6) has a height of fold ridges which is lower than the height of the fold ridges of the other web member (5), and the same goes for the sub-roof sheating (4). When said package is stretched out of its folded position the sub-roof sheathing and said one web member (6) will be stretched to be substantially flat, whereas the other web member (5) will still be provided with stiffening folds. By the aid of one element a sub-roof with underlying air slots and a windscreen above the roof insulation will, thus, be formed.

摘要： Methods of manufacturing pre-fabricated insulated wall structures are described in this specification. The methods include (a) attaching a foam panel to a front frame surface of a substantially horizontally positioned frame; (b) placing the frame having the foam panel attached thereto on a track conveyor configured to convey the frame having the foam panel attached thereto in a substantially upright position; (c) conveying the frame having the foam panel attached thereto on the track conveyer in a substantially upright position to a spray foam application station; and (d) spray applying a spray foam composition into a cavity of the frame to form a substantially upright positioned wall structure having a foam layer deposited in the cavity in which the foam layer adheres to the foam panel. Also disclosed are track conveyors suitable for use in such methods.
