摘要： A fire resistant cable comprising: at least one conducting element; at least one layer, surrounding said conducting element, made of a ceramifiable composition comprising: a polymeric material comprising an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer as main polymer; at least 25 wt % of silica; a fluxing agent selected from alkaline metal oxides or precursors thereof; a stabilizing agent comprising at least one of MgO, CaO, PbO, B2O3, or a precursor thereof; from 0.1 wt % to 5 wt % of a hydroxide selected from magnesium hydroxide, aluminium hydroxide and mixtures thereof; the above percentages being expressed with respect to the weight of the ceramifiable composition. Upon exposure to elevated temperatures such as those encountered in case of fire, the ceramifiable composition is transformed into a ceramic material capable of protecting the conducting element from fire and mechanical stresses. The fire resistant cable of the present invention can continue operating under fire conditions for a certain period of time.

CONSTITUTION: A tread rubber composition for a tire contains 0.1~40 parts of activated metal element by weight for 100 parts of raw rubber by weight. The activated metal element is selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal. The composition additionally contains a reinforcing agent and other additives. The composition generates various colors of flames at in the wave length of 380~700 nanometers at the visible light area by the heat occurred from the friction between the tire and the ground.

摘要： PURPOSE: A method for removing the smell of a wiring harness for vehicle is provided, to reduce the smell and toxicity due to lead and toluene remarkably by employing a smokeless stabilizer whose lead content is low and by reducing the content of toluene. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of employing a smokeless stabilizer whose lead content is 100 ppm or less as a heat stabilizer for PVC used as a source material of a tube or a tape contained in the wiring harness for vehicle; and a solvent containing methyl alcohol and odorless acetic acid and whose toluene content is low, as a solvent for an adhesive used to manufacture the wiring harness. Preferably the smokeless stabilizer is a Zn or Ca-based stabilizer. Optionally an auxiliary stabilizer is used together with the smokeless stabilizer, and the auxiliary stabilizer is 1.0 % or less of a phosphite-based compound. Preferably the solvent for an adhesive is a mixture comprising 45 wt% of odorless acetic acid, 35 wt% of SV4000, 15 wt% of methyl alcohol and 5 wt% of an acryl monomer.
