摘要： A pallet includes a deck having an upper surface for supporting goods thereon. The deck includes a plurality of ribs extending downward. According to one feature, the ribs may form plurality of stringers extending downward below the deck. Some of the ribs may be shorter in order to form a notch at each end of the stringers for engaging supports in a rack. In another feature, a plurality of locating features project upward from the surface of the deck. The plurality of locating features may each be generally in the shape of a pyramid for being received in the recessed bases of stackable plastic milk jugs.

The goods, preferably in displays or stacking trays (70) are supported on the pallet's base (21). The pallet (20) includes removable wheels or casters (36) and two parallel rails or guides (33) projecting from the bottom surface (26) and a perimeter wall (22, 23) projecting from the upper surface (25). To the extent a forklift is used, the guides (33) provide a side-exposed space or opening between the wheels (36) permitting insertion of the forklift tines. The cover (60) and pallet tray (70) include side openings (63, 73) to align with the space or openings below the pallet (20) base (21) and between the guides (33) so that forklifts and their tines may be used with the covered assembly (10).

摘要： A stackable pallet system for holding items has a stand and stackable pallets. The stand has a top end, a bottom end, and sides. Vertical corner pieces on the stand are connected to one another at intersections of the sides of the stand, and each corner piece has a toe disposed at the top end of the stand. The stackable pallets can stack one on top of the other and can stack on the stand. The stackable pallets each have a top end, a bottom end, and sides and each have corner pieces connected to one another at intersections of the sides. Similar to the stand, each corner piece of the pallets has a toe disposed at the top end and defining a receptacle at the bottom end. When stacking pallets, the receptacle of each corner piece on a top one of the stackable pallets can receive or fit on the toe of a corresponding one of the corner pieces on a bottom one of the stackable pallets. To stack on the stand, the receptacle of each corner piece on the bottom one of the stackable pallets can receive or fit the toe of a corresponding one of the corner pieces on the stand. To help move the stacked pallets, the stand can have casters or wheels.
