Along a printing direction, at least one stress dispersion structure is additionally arranged on each of two sides adjacent to a plurality of blanking holes arranged into a pattern of a printed subject on the printing steel plate, the stress dispersion structure is formed by a plurality of stress buffer holes, and the stress buffer holes are visible holes that cannot be penetrated by ink on the printing steel plate.     • A method is provided for controlling printed ink horizontal cross-sectional areas using fluoropolymer templates. The method initially forms a fluoropolymer template overlying a substrate. The fluoropolymer template has a horizontal first cross-sectional dimension. Then, a primary ink is printed overlying the fluoropolymer template having a horizontal second cross-sectional dimension less than the first cross-sectional dimension. In the case of a fluoropolymer line having a template length greater than a template width, where the template width is the first cross-sectional dimension, printing the primary ink entails printing a primary ink line having an ink length greater than an ink width, where the ink width is the second cross-sectional dimension. In one aspect, the method prints a plurality of primary ink layers, each primary ink layer having an ink width less than the template width. Each overlying primary ink layer can be printed prior to solvents in underlying primary ink layers evaporating.

    • A visual control device in the form of at least one control marking is provided on an exposed printing plate for a printing press, the visual control device being applied during exposure of the printing plate. The control marking includes at least two strips extending at least approximately in parallel, one of the strips depicting an uncalibrated tonal value profile around a defined halftone value, while another of the strips depicts the defined halftone value calibrated in the printing process. The control marking is provided with at least one region wherein the uncalibrated tonal value profile and the calibrated defined halftone value coincide visually in terms of color; and a printing plate provided with at least one of the control devices.
