    • PURPOSE:To obtain a device for forming a long-sized material into a prescribed shape by numerically controlling (NC) a swinging mechanism placed, on a set up travelling rail to perform bending and twisting works and reducing the residual stress of a material by heating it, in a work of the curved surface of a long- sized steel material. CONSTITUTION:A travelling dolly 4 on a travelling rail 1 and a traversing rail 3 is arranged at a proper position. A steel material 5 to be treated is mounted on the dolly 4 by the claw part of a holding means 6. The means 6 is placed on a lifting pillar 9 having an annular rack 10 and a hydraulic driving means, and is tilted by hydraulic cylinders 12 through a swinging means 8. All of these moving parts are automatically controlled by an NC mechanism. The residual stress of the material 5 formed into a prescribed shape by bending and twisting works is removed by a heating means 13. In this way, conventional bending and twisting works by hand are automated by the NC operation to improve the working accuracy.

      또한, 본 발명은 예열수단을 구성하여 가공대상물에 트위스트 형태가 원활하게 형성되도록 하고, 가공대상물의 양단부에 무리한 힘이 가해지지 않도록 하여 작동축 또는 지그에서 이탈되는 현상을 방지할 수 있고, 가공대상물의 양단부가 변형되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 것이다.

    • A method is disclosed for fabricating a hollow bar (10) that forms elements of a grille or railing of a metalwork piece where the bar is twisted manually, machine-assisted or automated machinery, into a spiral form for decorative or ornamental purposes. By providing the hollow bar (10) to be comprised of separate longitudinal parts (200, 202) which may be hinged-joined to complementarily fastened to each other to form the hollow bar (10), the longitudinal joint means (204, 206) are thus amenable to increased torsional stress, such that each of the parts (200, 202) may be twisted without breaching the material's fatigue limit and the bar (10) as a whole capable of being twisted with more spiral turns within its elasticity limits. The twisted bar may thus be released for re-working for adjustments or re-installation. A number of exemplary joint embodiments, internal and external bracing accessories are also disclosed to cater for the different longitudinal part fabrication, e.g. by extrusion or roll-milling.
