摘要： A liquid-gas phase reactor system including a slinger located in an upper section (headspace region) of a reaction vessel. The slinger comprises an upper horizontal surface including a plurality of vertically raised vanes extending radially outward along a curved path which effectively distribute liquid about the reactor vessel. A method for conducting an oxidation reaction using a liquid-gas phase reactor system is also disclosed. The disclosed reactor system and method have a broad range of applications but are particularly suited for the production of terephthalic acid.

The natural gas inlet (11) delivers pressurised natural gas to the flow path (38) and the water inlet (26) delivers pressurised water to the flow path (38). The flow path (38) comprises a plurality of first portions alternating with a plurality of second portions, the second portions being located at a lower level than the first portions such that passage of the pressurised natural gas and water through the flow path (38) mixes the water and natural gas before the water natural gas mixture is expelled through the outlet (40), and the temperature of the water and natural gas reduced, to produce natural gas hydrate.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid phase reactor which has extremely small size but can achieve a high reaction velocity, provide better products of more uniform quality and reduce the fixed operation cost when wet chemical reactions are performed.
SOLUTION: The liquid phase continuous reactor comprises a screw 12 in a barrel 14 so that the screw and the barrel can be rotated relatively and define a mixing zone therebetween. The barrel has at least one inlet for introducing components to be mixed therein and an outlet for discharging a product therefrom. The screw has at least one spiral groove adapted to axially transport the components between the screw and the barrel while mixing the components and to extrude the product through the outlet by the relative rotation of the screw and the barrel. The land surface area between the spiral groove forms at least 50% of the surface area of the screw in the mixing zone.

摘要： A method includes a step of supplying a first heated hydrocarbon-containing gas stream to a reactor. An oxygen-containing gas stream is separately supplied to the reactor to partially oxidize the hydrocarbon-containing gas stream. The oxygen-containing gas is optionally prepared by passing air through one or more membranes to increase the oxygen content. One or more of the desired liquid oxygenated hydrocarbons are condensed and/or separated from the resulting product stream. Non-hydrocarbon gases are selectively removed from the product stream to enrich the gaseous hydrocarbon fraction using a scrubber and/or a membrane. The remaining gaseous hydrocarbon products from the product stream are mixed with a fresh hydrocarbon-containing gas stream after one cycle of the reaction. Characteristically, the process uses at least one membrane to increase oxygen content of the oxygen containing gas and/or to remove non-hydrocarbon gases from the product stream as set forth above.
