摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which has a slag stopper 1, is a device for closing a tap hole of a metallurgical vessel, more particularly a converter, in order to separate molten metal to melt and slag, is arranged on the outer side of the vessel, has an operative closing element 8 starting from an annular gap to wall part of the tap hole and made insertable into the tap hole and includes plural lines, more particularly a pressurizing gas line 10 purposed to supply the closing element. SOLUTION: The slag stopper 1 has a coupling frame 2. The coupling frame 2 carries the respective parts of the slag stopper 1 and is mounted therewith. This coupling frame 2 is releasably fixed to a coupling point 11 on the metallurgical vessel 12 with respect to the parts. As a result, the time needed for repairing or exchanging the slag stopper 1 may be extremely shortened.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a play by providing at least one member which is not bent in an operating direction, absorbs a tensile force and a compression force and yields to a torque laterally applied. SOLUTION: A narrow side wall 1 is clamped between wide side walls 2, 3 and the side walls 2, 3 are supported by a rigid frame 10. The side walls 2,3 can be moved by a pressure medium cylinder 5 in order to adjust the side wall 1 and a piston rod 8 of a cylinder 5 is fixed to the side wall 1 at a thread connection portion 13. A cylinder body 14 of the cylinder 5 is fixed to the frame 10 by four rods 15 and each end of the two rods 15 at each side is fixed to an end area of the cylinder body 14 and each end of the other two rods 15 is fixed to an opposite end area. According to the above constitution, the cylinder 5 can transmit a large force in the moving direction and can move regarding a lateral torque and then, can accept a deflection angle from an absolute vertical position from the side wall 1. Thereby, a play can be adjusted to a minimum.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersed casting tube which maintains the depth in a perpendicular direction where the penetration of the melt supplied through the immersed casting tube is slight regardless of a high casting speed and assures a stable meniscus. SOLUTION: The immersed casting tube 1 for introducing the metal melt into a continuous casting mold 4 having a broad wide wall 7 and a narrow side wall 6 has a tube section having lateral openings 18 for the metal melt having a central axis nearly facing the narrow side wall of a strand 5 and a bottom 3 having bottom openings 23 for the metal melt. The bottom has the at least two bottom openings in order to assure both of the slight penetration depth in the perpendicular direction of the metal melt supplied via the immersed casting tube 1 into the liquid nucleus of the strand 5 at a high casting speed and the formation the slight vortex in the meniscus. The at least two bottom openings incline toward the narrow side wall of the strand 5 so as to form at least two casting jets 22 having the flow direction intersecting with each other when viewed in the direction perpendicular to the broad side part of the strand 5.

摘要： PURPOSE: To avoid another process disturbances due to excessive portions of dust ore particles by a method wherein the speed of a gas for drying is fixed at a rate at which entraining of dust ore particles having dimensions below specified dimension and the dust ore particles are separated, collected and admixed to dried fine ore in dosed amounts. CONSTITUTION: Fine ore 2 is inserted into a whirl bed drier 5 provided with a gas firing 6 via a proportioning belt 4 with a balance 3 from a storage tank 1. A drying gas formed during the combustion of a natural gas 8 inside 11 the whirl bed drier 5 is passed through the inserted fine ore 2 via a distribution grid 10 provided with a plurality of tuyeres 9. The speed of the drying gas 7 is fixed at a rate at which entraining of the dust ore particles 14 having dimensions below specified dimension is effected. With the upper end of the whirl bed drier 5 via a delivery duct 12, the dust ore particles 14 are separated in a cyclone separator 13 to be conveyed to a collection container 16 to get the dust ore particles 14 admixed to the dried fine ore 17 by a mixing means 21.
