摘要： A synergistic cleaning composition has been discovered comprising an aqueous solution of a quaternary ammonium compound component; a nonionic surfactant component; and a glycol ether solvent. Surprisingly, the combination of the quaternary ammonium compound component, the nonionic surfactant component, and glycol ether solvent provides a synergistic effect where the cleaning composition functions with a low level of quaternary ammonium compound component while still maintaining at least one of the following desirable properties, as follows: an acceptable cleaning efficacy; a low level irritation or toxicity profile; and/or a broad spectrum antimicrobial activity.

摘要： Moistened wipes are frequently used for infants and toddlers. However, the containers in which these wipes are provided are often not suitable for any further use once all the wipes have been used. Described herein is a stackable container (10) for premoistened wipes which includes a bottom having a pair of circular recesses (20, 22) and a lid portion (14) having a pair of circular projections (16, 18) in alignment with the circular recesses (20, 22) so that the container (10) may stack with other similar containers. Each container (10) is twice as long as it is wide so that the containers may stack in a staggered configuration, extending either parallel or perpendicular with respect to one another.

摘要： A disposable article for one step interim cleaning of hard surfaces comprises a non-woven substrate, carrying an aqueous cleaning composition loaded onto the substrate at a level less than about 85%, preferably less than 75%, of its maximum absorbence capacity. The aqueous composition comprises: optionally, one or more nonionic surfactants, one or more anionic surfactants or mixture of nonionic and anionic surfactants; a water miscible solvent for oils, (preferably a low molecular weight alcohol or N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone); and an alkalinity agent, such as ammonium hydroxide, in sufficient amount to maintain the pH of the extracted solution within the range of 8 to 12. The non-woven substance is preferably a non-chemically bonded fibrous material.

摘要： Spot pretreatment compositions useful as stain cleaning compositions useful prior to a subsequent cleaning operation, including laundering or dry-cleaning. The spot cleaning compositions feature a major proportion of water, and minor amounts of nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, and organic solvents selected from alcohols and glycol ethers. The spot pretreatment compositions exhibit excellent stain dissolution characteristics. Processes for producing the spot cleaning compositions, and methods for their use are also disclosed.
