    • A mounting apparatus for a data storage device (10) with a plurality of protrusions (14) formed thereon. The mounting apparatus comprises a bracket (30), a pair of retaining members (50), and a pair of latches (70). A pair of openings (40) is defined in each side plate (34) of the bracket. The retaining members are attached to inner sides of the side plates and each comprises a pair of retaining portions (58). The retaining portions each comprise a resilient arm (60) and a positioning portion (58). The protrusions are limited in a space defined by the resilient arm and the positioning portion. A hook (610) is formed on the resilient arm and extends through corresponding opening. The latches are pivotally attached to outsides of the bracket and ends are received in corresponding hooks. The data storage device is released from the bracket by pressing the latches.

    • A heat sink assembly for dissipating heat from a CPU (3) includes a computer enclosure (2), a heat sink (10), a container (20), a fan (30), and a tube (40). The container is partly filled with liquid, and is mounted on the heat sink. The fan is mounted in the container and open to a top wall (22) of the container. The enclosure encloses the heat sink the container and the fan therein. The tube is attached to the enclosure, with one end of the tube inserted through the container and engaged with a side of the fan, and an opposite end of the tube engaged with the container. In operation, liquid rises as vapor to the top wall, and condenses into droplets which drop into the fan. The droplets received in the fan are impelled to enter the tube, transfer heat to the enclosure, and return to the container.

    • A fastening device (1) for securing a disk drive (40) in a disk drive bracket (30) includes a clip (10) and an operating body (20) pivotably attached to the clip. The clip has a connecting portion (12) and two locking arms (14) extending away from opposite ends of the connecting portion. A pair of barbs (18) is formed on respective opposite edges of each locking arm. Each locking arm extends into a corresponding through hole (32) of the drive bracket and a corresponding locking aperture (44) of the disk drive. A pair of pivot protrusions (19) is formed on respective opposite edges of the connecting portion. The operating body includes a middle plate (22), two side plates (24) extending perpendicularly from the middle plate, and a manipulating portion (28). The side plates have two stops (25), and two pivot holes (26) defined therein for extension of the pivot protrusions thereinto.

    • A rear panel (10) of a computer enclosure includes a rear wall (12) and a stamped portion (14) which is integrally stamped from the rear wall. The stamped portion has an inner plate (15) and three connection plates (16, 18, 19) respectively connecting a left side, a right side and a top side of the inner plate to the rear wall. A window (22) is defined in the inner plate, for extension of connectors therethrough. A plurality of parallel slots (21) is defined through both the inner plate and the left connection plate. A bar (25) is formed between every two adjacent slots. Each bar forms a rib (26) thereon for reinforcing the overall structure of the rear panel. A plurality of L-shaped guard boards (23) engagably covers the corresponding slots.

    • An adjustable device includes a supporting plate (20) and a securing plate (10). The supporting plate includes a locking block (204) and three latches (208). The locking block defines three locking holes (205). The latches include a left latch, a right latch, and a front latch disposed forwardly of the left and right latches. Each latch defines a slot (209) and a screw aperture (207). The securing plate includes three fasteners (106) corresponding to the latches. Each fastener defines a through aperture (108). The securing plate defines a through hole (105). The position of the securing plate secured to the supporting plate is adjustable by a selected fastener being selectively engaged in the slot of a corresponding latch, a screw (30) extending through the through hole to engage in a corresponding locking hole, and another screw (30) extending through a through aperture to engage in a corresponding screw aperture.
