摘要： A toner composition including toner particles including a binder resin including a modified polyester resin, and a second resin having a weight average molecular weight of from 2,000 to 10,000; a colorant; a release agent; and a particulate material which is present at least a surface portion of the toner particles while embedded into the surface portion, wherein the binder resin has a glass transition temperature not lower than 35° C. and lower than 55° C., and wherein the particulate material has an average particle diameter of from 0.002 to 0.2 times that of the toner particles. A developer including the toner composition and a carrier having a layer thereon which includes at least an acrylic resin and a silicone resin, and a method for fixing an image of the toner composition are also provided.

摘要： The ionizer of the present invention comprises a chamber which has an ionization part that ionizes a portion of an ion carrier gas that is supplied to the interior of this chamber, and a blowing part which feeds the ion carrier gas toward a charged body. The ionization part is constructed from an ionization source which is contained in the chamber, and a control device which is connected with this ionization source via a high-voltage cable. Either the generating part of a soft X-ray generating device, the generating part of a low-energy electron beam generating device or the generating part of an ultraviolet radiation generating device is used as the ionization source. The control device, the connecting part between the control device and the high-voltage cable and the connecting part between the ionization source and the high-voltage cable are formed with an explosion-proof structure.

A minimum dimension between two adjacent grooves from among the plurality of grooves is designed to be greater than or equal to 2 mm and smaller than or equal to 7 mm.

摘要： An improved toner comprises a binder resin comprising a urea-modified polyester resin; a colorant master batch comprising a colorant; a resin; and a pigment dispersant. The toner is prepared by a method comprising dissolving or dispersing toner compositions including a modified polyester resin capable of forming the urea-modified polyester resin and the colorant master batch in an organic solvent to provide a liquid; dispersing the liquid in an aqueous medium including resin fine particles while reacting the modified polyester resin with at least one of a crosslinker and an elongation agent to provide particles; and washing the particles after removing the organic solvent therefrom.

摘要： In association with a solenoidal coil 10 being energized to unlock a shift lever 1C, a first movable core 9 and a second movable core 11 magnetically stick together so as to rotationally move in unison from an original position in which the first movable core 9 engages with the second movable core 11. Because the first movable core 9 and the second movable core 11 stick together before unlocking the shift lever 1C, it is possible to avoid the first movable core 9 from hitting the second movable core 11 so as to eliminate an operational noise. A lock plate 7 and a link plate 8 are rotatably provided around a rotational center 6 in relative to the solenoidal coal 10. This prevents the lock plate 7 and the link plate 8 from moving rotationally in unison with the solenoidal coil 10 so as to insure a smooth and quick rotational movement.
