    • A roof door device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has a roof and a side door operable to close a side door opening. The roof has a roof side opening which is positioned above and merged with the side door opening. A roof door is pivotally connected to the roof to open and close the roof side opening. A guide rail is mounted on the roof at a position near the roof side opening. A slider is slidable in and along the guide rail. A pivotal arm has one end pivotally connected to the roof and the other end connected to the roof door. A link member has one end pivotally connected to the slider and the other end pivotally connected to the pivotal arm, so that a movement of the slider in and along the guide rail in one direction causes folding of the pivotal arm thereby closing the roof side opening with the roof door. A pin is connected to the pivotal arm. The link member has a holding recess. The holding recess catches the pin to achieve a latched condition of the pivotal arm relative to the link member when the pivotal arm is folded to lie parallel with the link member.

    • A cab locking apparatus engages a striker on a chassis of a truck and holds a cab in a normal standing position, without allowing the cab to be forwardly inclined. To minimize the entire size of the apparatus and the total number of component elements, an input lever is located between a latch member, for engaging and disengaging the striker, and a locking plate, for retaining the latch member in a locking position. When the input lever is moved to a releasing operative position, the input lever is retained in a restricting/releasing holding groove in a base plate so that the latch member can be removed from the striker. When the latch member is engaged with the striker, the input lever is removed from the restricting/releasing holding groove so that the latch member is restricted in the locking position.

    • Herein disclosed is a sealed rotary switch which is reliably operable even in a cold winter. The switch comprises a case having a bottomed cylindrical bore, a pair of stationary contacts exposed to the cylinderical bore, a rotatable contact rotatably received in the cylindrical bore of the case so as to be contactable with the stationary contacts, a shaft member having one end portion detachably connected to the rotatable contact and the other end portion projected outwardly from the cylindrical bore of the case, the one end portion being rotatably supported on the bottom of the bore, and a circular cover member having a central bore, the cover member being sealingly and detachably received in a mouth portion of the bore of the case while sealingly receiving the other end portion of the shaft member in the central bore thereof.
