When a plurality of the conductive regions are in contact with the first conductive layer simultaneously, each of the plurality of the conductive regions generates an output signal and the magnitude of the output signal depends at least in part upon the conductive region's position relative to the first and second edges.

    • This invention is suitable for use in the field of integrated circuits. It provides a type of power source circuit. Said power source circuit includes: a charge pump circuit used to operate the charge pump to produce driving voltages; a first control circuit, used in the closed-loop control of said charge pump circuit to produce a positive high voltage; a bias-ratio circuit, used with the positive high voltage and the zero-potential voltage produced by the first control circuit to produce a positive sub-high voltage and a lowest positive high voltage; and a second control circuit, used in accordance with the positive sub-high voltage and the lowest positive high voltage produced by said bias-ratio circuit in the closed-loop control of said charge pump circuit to produce a negative high voltage. Using this invention, the system contains no voltage higher than the liquid crystal's driving voltages, and also does not contain any lower negative voltage than the liquid crystal's highest negative driving voltage, thereby reducing the circuit's electrical consumption.

    • The present invention discloses an electronic camera which processes the exposure of light by means of an imaging surface comprising a plurality of active pixel sensor circuits. Each pixel sensor circuit produces a small current inversely proportional to the amount of light that has fallen on a photodiode within the pixel sensor circuit. The individual currents produced by the active pixel sensor circuits are aggregated onto one or more current collection busses and operatively channeled to an operational amplifier assigned to a given bus. If a single operational amplifier is used, its output voltage is compared to a preset voltage level. When the voltage level decays to a preset level, a control signal is signaled. The control signal may be used to terminate further light exposure through traditional means such as triggering a “snubber” tube which immediately discharges the flash tube storage capacitor or turning off an IGBT high power transistor controlling the current through the flash tube, or, it may trigger an electronic shutter which prevents further photographic development of the imaging surface. Through the use of multiple operational amplifiers, different sectors of the imaging surface can be “weighted,” thereby giving greater effect to the light falling on select portions of the imaging surface.

    • A multi-touch detection system includes a touch-sensitive device, a microcontroller coupled to the touch sensitive device, and an electronic application coupled to the microcontroller. The touch-sensitive device includes multiple electrically isolated conductive regions and the conductive regions are configured to detect multiple contacts from a user simultaneously and generate respective output signals for the multiple user contacts. The microcontroller is configured to receive the output signals from the conductive regions and generate one or more control signals in response to the output signals. The electronic application includes a screen displaying multiple human-machine interactive objects and a signal processor. The signal processor is configured to receive the control signals from the microcontroller and alter the appearance of the human-machine interactive objects on the screen in accordance with the control signals.
