CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer ring is produced with the copper alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, 35-39% Zn, 2.5-3. 5% Al, 2.0-3.0% Ni, 1.0-2.0% Ti, 0.1-0.5% Mg and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, A Vickers hardness of at least the sliding surface of ring is in the range of 190-210 Hv. In producing the synchronizer ring, the hot extracted cylindrical material of copper alloy of the composition is used for stock, and the stock is hot forged and then machined to the prescribed shape to be finished. It is desirable that the hardness of sliding surface is adjusted by executing annealing in 350-450 deg.C.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a sliding resin composition having an optimized blending ratio of a solid lubricant to actualize reduction in coefficient of friction and striking increase in wear resistance. CONSTITUTION:This sliding resin composition comprises 50-73wt.% of at least one of a polyamideimide resin and a polyimide resin as a binder, 3-15wt.% of a polytetrafluoroethylene, 20-30wt.% of molybdenum disulfide and 2-8wt.% of graphite as a sol-id lubricant and the total of the solid lubricants is 27-50wt.%. The sliding resin composition provides a resin-coated layer having excellent wear resistance and initial fitting characteristics. The resin-coated layer is made into a smooth and excellent sliding face by sliding on an opponent material at the initial stage of sliding. Consequently, a coefficient of friction after sliding on the opponent material for a given time is made smaller than one at the early stage. Therefore a stationary loss amount is reduced to improve wear resistance.

A back plate 162 is superposed on an outer periphery of a semi-circular aluminum-derived bearing alloy 161. A resin coating layer 163 is laminated on the outer periphery of the back plate 162. The resin coating layer 163 is preferably made of ethylene tetrafluoride, polyamide imide, or denaturated polyamide imide. The polyamide imide or the denaturated polyamide imide is mixture of polyamide resin, n- methyl pyrolidone and xylene. Generation of fretting is thus suppressed.

CONSTITUTION:A piston base material 1 is formed with an Al-Si based aluminum alloy casting. The inner periphery of a top ring groove section 6 receiving a compression ring is constituted with a cast material 10 made of a low-Si high-strength Al-Mg based aluminum alloy expanded material containing Si 0.4 wt.% or below. An alumite layer 11 processed with positive electrode oxidation is formed on the upper face 6A, lower face 6B and inner rear face 6C of the groove section 6. The abrasion resistance of the piston ring groove section is remarkably improved as compared with that not using the cast material, and the aluminum adhesion resistance is sharply improved.
