    • An electric fan includes a frame (10) having a central tube (12) extending therefrom, a bearing (30) received in the central tube, a stator (50) mounted around the central tube, and a rotor (70) being rotatably supported by the bearing. The frame defines an air inlet (19) and an air outlet (17) at two different sides thereof. The stator includes a stator core (52) having a central cylinder (520). A plurality of radial posts (522) extends from the central cylinder. A plurality of magnetic poles (524) is formed at free ends of the posts. A plurality of stator coils (54) is wound around the posts. Each magnetic pole includes a lower portion (700) adjacent to the air outlet and an upper portion (60) adjacent to the air inlet. The upper portions expand radially along a direction from the air inlet to the air outlet.

    • A motor stator (10) includes a hollow cylinder (19), a stator winding (16) and upper and lower magnetic pole plates (12, 18). The stator winding is axially wound around the hollow cylinder. The upper and lower magnetic pole plates are disposed at opposite sides of the stator winding. At least one of the upper and lower magnetic pole plates has a plurality of projecting fins (122, 182) extending from a periphery thereof. The upper and lower magnetic pole plates are made from ferromagnetic powder having a plurality of particles each having a core-shell structure with a central core (52) and an outer shell (54) coated on the central core. The central core is made of a magnetic material. The outer shell has a higher electrical resistance than the central core.

    • A motor stator includes a stator core (500) and a stator coil. The stator core includes a central cylinder (501) and a plurality of posts (503) extending from the central cylinder. Each post is connected with a magnetic pole (505). The post has a smaller height than the central cylinder and the magnetic pole whereby a recess (507) is formed above the post between the central cylinder and the magnetic pole. The stator coil is received in the recess and wound around the post. The stator core is integrally made from ferromagnetic powder by powder metallurgy technique. Each particle of the powder includes an inner core (12) made of magnetic material and an outer shell (14) surrounding the inner core. The shell has a higher electrical resistance than the inner core.

    • An electric heating module includes an electric heater (10), a heat pipe (20) having an evaporating section (22) thermally attached to the electric heater and a condensing section (24), and at least one heat radiator (30, 40) thermally attached to the condensing section. The electric heater includes a pair of electrode plates (12, 14) and a heating element (16) sandwiched between and electrically connecting the electrode plates. An insulation frame (19) encloses the electrode plates therein for electrically insulating the electric heater from the heat radiator. For the non-linear PTC heating element, the electric heater can rapidly heat up to and stay at a desired stable temperature. The heat pipe can transfer heat from the electric heater to the heat radiator rapidly and timely by phase change.
