    • PURPOSE: To provide the energy saving by optimizing circulating flow rate in the heat insulation operation of a circulation type water heater. CONSTITUTION: A circulation type water heater comprises a hot water supply tube 4 from a hot water supply source equipment 1 to a hot water supply position 2, a hot water return tube 5 continued from the supply tube to return from the position to the equipment, and a circulation pump 6. The pump is so formed as to regulate a circulation flow rate. Water temperature sensors 9a, 9b are installed in a suitable place, of the tube at the downstream side from the connecting position with a cock 3 of the most downstream side of the position, and the pump is so controlled as to maintain the water temperature detected by the sensor at a predetermined value to regulate the circulation flow rate. Thus, the warm water temperature at a faucet (cock) etc. of the farthest position from the equipment can be maintained higher than the lowest limit without failure for the use while always holding the heat insulation operating state at the optimum warm water circulation flow rate despite the length, the bore of the supply tube, the peripheral temperature of the tube, the heat insulation executing state of the tube, and its aging change.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a so-called sandwich phenomenon of cold water wherein a cold water layer is formed in a hot water supply route, in circulation type water heating equipment which is constructed of a heat source machine provided with a hot water connecting port and a supply water connecting port. CONSTITUTION:In circulation type water heating equipment wherein a hot water route 3 from a heat source machine 1 to a hot water supplying place 2, a hot water return route 4 from the hot water supplying place 2 to the heat source machine 1, a circulation pump 8 and a supply water route 5 to the heat source machine 1 are constructed, the heat source machine 1 is provided with a supply water connecting port 15 on the upstream side of a heat exchanger part 10 and with a hot water connecting port 16 on the downstream side thereof. The supply water route 5 and the hot water return route 4 are joined together and a joined route 18 thus formed is connected to the supply water connecting port 15, while a temperature detector 19 is provided in the vicinity of a joining point 17 on this joined route 18. Based on a detection output of the temperature detector 19, a burning sequence of a burner 9 of the heat source machine 1 is started in this constitution.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the starting time by a method wherein at a time of start of warming operation, until a hot water temperature in a return flow passage reaches a set value, an operation is carried out with a much larger circulation amount of hot water than that in a normal operation. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch is turned ON, first a circulation pump 5 is turned ON by a controller to start a circulation of hot water in a flow passage, and then a burner of a heat source device 1 is started to burn through a prescribed sequence. At the time when the operation switch is turned ON, as a solenoid valve 11 in a bypass flow passage 10 which is interposed in a return flow passage 4 is already opened, the circulating water flows into the bypass flow passage 10. As a result, if the solenoid valve 11 is closed, a large amount of circulating water can be obtained. Accordingly, an output per unit time of the heat source device 1 becomes large, and a time required for raising the circulating water temperature, that is, a rising time can be shortened. The solenoid valve 11 is closed at a time when the hot water temperature reaches the set value, and the circulating water flows only through a throttle 6 after that.

    • PURPOSE:To always feed a specified quantity of hot water regardless of the number of use of a hot water feed plug by providing a pressure detection part at the discharge side of a hot water pump, a plurality of hot water feed plugs at the downstream side of the pressure detection part and a flow control means receiving a signal of the pressure detection part the downstream side of the hot water feed plugs for its operation. CONSTITUTION:A hot water feed pump 3 is operated to circulate hot water in a hot water circuit 2, where not water feed can be performed by opening hot water feed plugs 3. At this time, since a pressure detection part 4 detects a pressure which is higher than a set pressure, the signal is transmitted to a flow control means 6 such as a solenoid valve to enlarge a circulation flow. As the result, the pressure of the upstream side of the flow control means 6 lowers and a proper quantity of the hot water can be fed from opened hot water feed plug 5. In addition, for instance, in the case where the four hot water feed plugs 5 are opened wholly, the pressure detection part 4 attains a pressure lower than a set pressure to transmit the signal to the flow control means 6 so as to stop or limit the circulation of the hot water. As the result, a quantity of hot water feed from each hot water feed plug 5 increases.
