The network resource reallocation controller (160) comprises an information collection module (162) arranged to collect, for each of the applications (110, 120), respective information generated during use of the UE. The network resource reallocation controller (160) further comprises a resource reallocation request generator (164) arranged to generate network resource reallocation requests each comprising a priority value that is associated with a respective one of the applications (110, 120) and based on the information collected for the application, for use by the network node (300) to reallocate the network resources for delivery of the content.

摘要： A technique for validating Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for roaming user terminals is presented. A method implementation of the technique performed in a home network of the roaming user terminal comprises obtaining Service level-related Performance Data (SPD) that have been collected by the user terminal while roaming in a visited network. Additionally, subscription information associated with the user terminal and indicative of an SLA is obtained. Next, the SLA is validated based on a comparison of the SPD, or data derived therefrom, with the subscription information.

摘要： A technique for operating an RNC of a communication network during a soft handover process of a mobile terminal between a first BS and at least one second BS that are connected to the RNC is provided. A method implementation of the technique comprises receiving, at a MAC protocol layer of the RNC, a first data frame stream from the first BS via a first data path and a second data frame stream from the second BS via a second data path. A relative delay between the data frames of the first and the second data frame stream regarding their arrival at the RNC is determined. The relative delay takes into account different systematic propagation durations from the first BS and the second BS to the RNC. At then the MAC protocol layer, data frames of the first and the second data frame stream are then merged into a third data frame stream which is transmitted to a protocol layer above the MAC protocol layer. The merging of the data frames is carried out in dependence on the relative delay.
