    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resistance element capable of being used for a long period under a high-temperature environment of 1,000 deg.C or higher (preferably 1,400 deg.C or higher), and having a small variation of a resistance value and excellent in durability, even if temperature increase from a room temperature to 1,000 deg.C or higher (preferably 1,400 deg.C or higher) and temperature reduction in the reverse direction are repeated. SOLUTION: In this resistance element 20 having a resistance element body 22 composed of ceramics containing zircon as a main component, and an inner conductor 14 embedded inside the resistance element body 22, the inner conductor 14 has a melting point of 1,700 deg.C or higher, a thermal expansion coefficient in the range from a room temperature to 800 deg.C of 4×10-6/ deg.C-6×10-6/ deg.C, and a resistivity of 10-5 Ωcm or less. The inner conductor 14 preferably contains one or more electric conductors selected from, for example, tungsten(W), tungsten carbide(WC, W2C), molybdenum(Mo) and chromium(Cr).

    • PURPOSE:To make it to conform with the mass production and manufacture at a low cost by installing a heating element which consists of a high resistor or a material under lamination structure laminated with an insulator and a conductor, and which is a conductor-built-in sintered body where the conductor is connected to a lead in one piece. CONSTITUTION:A heating element 1 is manufactured by cutting and burning a laminated raw sheet or a material formed under lamination structure by a printing process. An upper part conductor 3 and a lower part conductor 5 provide lead wires 3a and 5a, which are wider and designed to reduce their resistance and heating elements 3b and 5b which are narrower and designed to increase their resistance. A conductor 4 in the middle comprises a narrow heating element 4a and conductor connection pads 4b and 4c in a through hole whose line width is increased. The latter is connected to the pads 3d and 5d of the conductors 3 and 5 by way of the conductors 6 and 7 filled up in the through hole. This constitution makes it possible to reduce the manufacturing cost since the mass production is available by producing in great quantity and no work is required after burning.
