摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving control information using a pilot pattern inserted in a plot field of a dedicated physical channel in a mobile communication system including a transmitter for transmitting data and a receiver for receiving the data. The apparatus and method include selecting control information according to whether the data is received; and selecting a pilot pattern according to the control information, and inserting the selected pilot pattern in a pilot field of a dedicated physical channel as the control information, before transmission. The pilot pattern includes a first pilot pattern used when the control information is not transmitted, a second pilot pattern being orthogonal with the first pilot pattern, and a third pilot pattern generated by inverting a sign of the second pilot pattern.

摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting a control signal using a symbol or bit pattern of an existing pilot channel, instead of using the time multiplexing method in the separate code channel or the existing physical channel, and reducing an error rate while a reception side detects the control signal are provided. For that purpose, a transmission side allocates transmission power corresponding to a pilot pattern determined according to the control information. A corresponding reception side detects control information based on a pilot pattern of pilot bits inserted in a dedicated physical channel (DPCH) and generates transmit power control (TPC) bits referring to a target reception power which is set based on the control information.

摘要： An apparatus and method of using an E-DCH and an uplink DCH in an asynchronous WCDMA communication system. To determine an uplink channel status for using the DCH and E-DCH, a UE determines whether it is in a soft handover (SHO) region referring to active set information received from an RNC. If it is in a non-SHO region, the UE code-multiplexes the DCH and E-DCH. If it is in an SHO region, the UE time-multiplexes the DCH and E-DCH. A Node B analyzes uplink channel status information about the UE received form the RNC. If the UE is in a non-SHO region, the Node B code-demultiplexes the DCH and E-DCH received from the UE. If the UE is in an SHO region, the Node B time-multiplexes the DCH and E-DCH. For the multiplexing of the DCH and E-DCH, common TFS-related information is configured for the DCH and E-DCH.

摘要： A method is provided for allocating and identifying frequency resources to a terminal in a Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) system. The method includes receiving from a base station a scheduling message including frequency resource information; and calculating the allocated frequency resource based on relative information if the scheduling message is a Relative Grant (RG) message including the relative information generated on a basis of a currently used channel. The relative information includes one of an identifier of a terminal, or an identifier of a channel in use by the terminal as a terminal ID, state information indicating number of channel that stands for increase or decrease amount of frequency resources on a basis of the currently used channel, and, direction information indicating a direction of the state information.

A sub-packet generator generates a sub-packet by selecting symbols from coded symbols including a first bit group and a second bit group, the first bit group having a different priority than the second bit group. A divider divides each bit group of the sub-packet into as many bit streams as previously allocated resource blocks. A resource block mapper maps the divided bit streams to the resource blocks, respectively, and outputs the bit streams for transmission.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting a control channel in a base station for a wireless communication system. The base station transmits information including a number of channel elements constituting control channels, to a terminal; establishes a set of control channels that the terminal can receive, within the number of channel elements using an identifier (ID) of the terminal; and transmits control information to the terminal through a selected control channel among the control channels. The terminal is restricted to monitor only a proper number of control channels established without the need to monitor all control channels, thereby reducing reception complexity and avoiding unnecessary battery consumption.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) in a communication system are provided. It is determined whether there is any uplink data to transmit, when a CQI transmission time arrives according to a predetermined CQI transmission period. If there is uplink data to transmit, a part of the uplink data is punctured to insert the CQI therein, and the inserted CQI is multiplexed with the uplink data before transmission. It is determined whether there is any uplink data to receive from a terminal, when a CQI reception time arrives according to a predetermined CQI transmission period. If there is uplink data to receive, the uplink data is received from the terminal, and the received uplink data is demultiplexed to extract the CQI.
