    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing frozen dessert extruding a mix from a mix material bag to a mix supply passage by compressed air to be supplied to a cooling cylinder and precisely detecting the residual quantity of the mix in the mix material bag.
      SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing frozen dessert has a flexible bag body 21 holding the mix, a cold reserving storehouse which keeps cold the mix material bag 5 and set on the outside of the bag body and comprising a flexible outer layer body 23 capable of forming a sealed space AI between the layer body and the bag body, a cooling cylinder 8 which produces frozen dessert by cooling while stirring the mix supplied from the mix material bag, an air pump 27, a mix material tube 34 for connecting the bag body of the mix material bag and the cooling cylinder, a bag pressurizing pipe 7 for supplying compressed air produced by the air pump to the sealed space AI, and an air circuit sensor 47 which detects air pressure in the sealed space. The remaining quantity of the mix in the bag body is detected based on air pressure in the sealed space AI.

The air pump is allowed to be operated when the thermal insulation door 3 is closed.
