    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reduction of a critical current due to external force by substituting a part of ceramic superconductive wires spirally wound into multiple layers on the outer periphery of a core material with metal tapes having the same thickness, and using the metal tapes as high-tensile material. SOLUTION: Superconductive wires 2 coated with silver, copper or an alloy of them on ceramic superconductive materials and stainless steel tapes 3 are spirally wound in turn on the outer periphery of a core material 1 of a round pipe made of an aluminum alloy. The thickness and width of the stainless steel tapes 3 are made equal to those of the superconductive wires 2, the stainless steel tapes 3 have tensile strength higher than that of the superconductive wires 2, and the limit value of the tensile stress reducing a critical current value is increased. Grooves are preferably formed in the longitudinal direction on the surfaces of the stainless steel tapes 3, and optical fibers connected to a temperature distribution measuring device are arranged in the grooves. When electric insulation coating such as enamel coating is applied to the stainless steel tapes 3, the coupling loss and eddy current loss due to excitation between the superconductive wires 2 can be prevented.
