Signaling of the allocation of a physical transmission channel (PMCH) to one of the mobile user terminals (UE) of the group from the node of the mobile communication network (RNC) is carried out via the base station to the mobile user terminal (UE) by means of a general physical channel (S-CCPCH) and system information is made available in advance to the group of mobile user terminals (UE). Said system information contains the configurations of the physical transmission channels (PMCH) for the multicast service and of the general physical channel (S-CCPCH). The system information further contains the information that the signaling of the allocation of the physical transmission channels (PMCH) is carried out on the general physical channel (S-CCPCH).

摘要： The aim of the invention is to simultaneously transmit multi-cast messages intended for a group of receivers (MS1 - MS6) in a mobile radio system. 摘要： In a third generation (UMTS) mobile radiotelephone system, data are transmitted between a base station and a mobile station in packet form via the air interface. A connection control protocol with the task of inter alia, establishing whether and which of the data packets have been lost during the transmission, using control data, functions in both stations. These control data are added to each packet that is sent by the connection control protocol. Several packets can be transmitted within the transmission interval and the number of packets can vary from interval to interval. This allows different data transmission rates. The inventive method enables the number of packets that are sent via the air interface to be reduced, by transmitting larger, rather than more packets within a predetermined interval. This does not affect the possibility of varying the data transmission rate.

摘要： The invention relates to the configuration of data channels for the purpose of data transmission via the radio interface of a mobile radio system, especially UMTS, from a mobile station (UE) to a node of the mobile radio system, especially a radio network controller (RNC). The inventive method is characterized by the extension of RRC (re)configuration messages with the purpose of restricting the logical channels to be configured in such a manner that they can only use predetermined transport formats contained in the (re)configuration message, thereby suspending the independence of the RB mapping information from the indication of the TFSs by adding in an extension of the corresponding RRC messages a correlation between the transport formats and the logical channels. This requires that the logical channels are configured for a mapping onto the corresponding transport channel. Particularly, the logical channels are restricted to the use of predetermined values of the parameter RLC size.
