摘要： This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for semi-static slot configuration for time division multiplexed uplink carriers. Efficiency of configuring a slot pattern to be used on multiple uplink carriers may be improved by configuring one or more cell-specific slot patterns for each user equipment (UE) located in a cell associated with a base station and using UE-specific signaling to modify or activate a particular cell-specific slot pattern. Enabling a UE to switch among slot patterns may improve UE performance based on a location of the UE within the cell, such as by signaling the UE to operate according to a first slot pattern in which uplink slots are assigned to a higher frequency band to enable higher data rate transmissions at a cell center, or according to a second slot pattern in which uplink slots are assigned to a lower frequency band to improve coverage at a cell edge.

摘要： This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission for time division multiplexed uplink carriers. In one aspect, a missed PUCCH transmission occasion may be rescheduled in a next valid uplink slot, thus reducing a delay in transmitting uplink control information. In some aspects, a PUCCH transmission occasion scheduled during an invalid uplink slot on one uplink carrier can be included in a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission on another uplink carrier having a valid uplink slot in the slot when the PUCCH transmission occasion is scheduled, thus further reducing delays in transmitting the uplink control information. In some aspects, multiple uplink carriers can have a PUCCH configuration, which allows the UE to dynamically select the uplink carrier for the PUCCH transmission (such as based on which uplink carrier has a valid uplink slot in the slot when the PUCCH is to be transmitted).

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station (BS), a first signaling communication that configures a plurality of transmit precoder matrix indicator (TPMI) and sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) pairs. The plurality of TPMI and SRI pairs may be for transmitting respective physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communications to the BS. The UE may receive, from the BS, a second signaling communication that indicates an update to a TPMI and SRI pair of the plurality of TPMI and SRI pairs. The UE may transmit, to the BS, a PUSCH communication, of the respective PUSCH communications, based at least in part on the update to the TPMI and SRI pair. Numerous other aspects are provided.

A method by a base station (BS) includes providing a user equipment (UE) with a CSI report configuration. The CSI report configuration is associated with one or more CSI reference signal (RS) resources. Each CSI-RS resource comprising a set of ports or port groups. The BS signals the UE to enable the UE to send a CSI report including CSI for more than one CSI-RS resource or for a CSI-RS resource comprising more than one port group and receives a CSI report from the UE.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support non-periodic channel state information (CSI) triggering and reporting in wireless communications. In cases where two or more CSI report requests trigger multiple CSI report transmissions in an same uplink slot, a user equipment (UE) may format at least a subset of the multiple CSI reports according to a formatting configuration for transmission of multiple CSI reports in a same uplink slot. The UE may use allocated resources in the uplink slot for each CSI report that are allocated by the base station in the corresponding CSI report request. In some cases, the UE may combine the multiple CSI reports, or parts thereof, into a combined CSI report that may be transmitted using allocated resources of one of the CSI report requests.

摘要： Enhanced channel state information (CSI) feedback is disclosed for full dimensional multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) operations. In one aspect, a single CSI process is defined that is configured with an azimuth and elevation CSI-reference signal (RS) ports. A user equipment (UE) will send a precoding matrix indictor (PMI) report including a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for the azimuth ports and a PMI for the elevation ports. One of the PMIs is assigned a low rank. The base station will use the two PMIs to create a whole channel precoding matrix. In another aspect, a single CSI process is configured having a plurality of CSI-RS resources. The UE generates channel measurement information for each of the CSI-RS resources, but only sets a CSI report to the base station of a subset of the total number of resources.
