    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for continuously manufacturing a liquid crystal display element and a method for continuously manufacturing a liquid crystal display element, in which even when a sticking step and an optical inspection step are carried out in a continued line, inspection can be carried out to an essential quality level of the product without increasing the percentage of defects, and high productivity is achieved.SOLUTION: The system includes: frame means on which a continuous roll having an optical film laminate in a continuous web form wound thereon is mounted; half-cut means for cutting the optical film laminate to form a sheet piece of a polarizing film in such a manner that a polarizing film and an adhesive in the laminate are cut into a length corresponding to the minor or major side of a liquid crystal panel while a carrier film is left as uncut; sticking means for sticking the sheet piece with the adhesive to the liquid crystal panel to form a liquid crystal display element; and inspection means for optically inspecting the liquid crystal display element. The sticking means and the inspection means are arranged in a continued line. The system also includes adhesive softening means to relatively decrease the storage modulus of the adhesive when the sheet is stuck by the sticking means than a storage modulus of the adhesive, which is 17.5 kPa or more in a continuous roll state and when cut by the half-cut means.
