摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a coating weight controller for a hot dip metal coating line which makes the coating weight of hot dip coating uniform and the quality thereof better. CONSTITUTION: The coating weight detection signal that a coating weight signal processing circuit 31 detects by a coating weight meter 14 is branched to an electromagnet control system and a wiping nozzle control system. The target gap values of the electromagnet control system and wiping nozzle control system are respectively calculated in accordance with the branched coating weight detection signals. Detected gap values and these target gap values are then compared. A signal changeover control circuit 27 and a signal changeover switch 26 controls the driving of either of the electromagnet 25 or wiping nozzle 13 in accordance with the respective calculated results, and thereby controls the coating weight of a steel strip S.

摘要： PURPOSE: To control a steel plate to have a target shape, even if the plate is in a travelling position away from a sensor, by providing a correct means for changing a target value signal in accordance with the travelling device for controlling the plate shape. CONSTITUTION: The plate shape control device is capable of correcting a plate 1 to a target shape, at an arbitrary position separated in the travelling direction of the plate from a sensor position where the correcting device is installed; the correcting device consisting of electromagnets 3 that are provided in plural pairs in the width direction of the plate 1, with each pair oppositely facing with each other on the front and back face of the travelling plate 1, and with two pairs arranged separately in the travelling direction, and that are capable of changing the shape of the plate 1 by imparting a non-contact force to the plate, and also consisting of a position-detecting sensor 2 that is arranged in the center of the two electromagnets 3 facing with one of the surfaces of the plate 1 and that is capable of detecting the displacement of the plate from the target travelling position. As a result, for example, the shape of the steel plate is accurately conformed to a target shape at a position away from the sensor where a working device such as a wiping nozzle 4 is installed.
