    • PURPOSE:To produce a titled steel plate having a good one side plated surface and a uniform and smooth non-plated surface by introducing a steel strip applied with a shield film on the non-plating surface into a hermetic structure of a non-oxidative or reducing atmosphere and subjecting the same to one side plating. CONSTITUTION:A steel strip 5 applied with degreasing, reducing and annealing treatment is introduced into a snout 4. In a turn roll 6 section, gaseous O2 or steam is blown from the spray nozzle 11 of a shield film imparting means 10 to the non- plating surface of the strip 5 to form a shield film of 10-1,000Angstrom thicknesses. Thence, this is introduced into a seal box 3 of the hermetic structure maintained in a non-oxidative or reducing atmosphere, where it is guided onto a molten metal bath surface by guide rolls 7, 7'; at the same time part of molten metal 2 is flowed and built up via a flow through 9 by an electromagentic pump 8, whereby it is touched and stuck to the one side of the strip 5, after which the plating metal stuck on the surface to be plated is wiped away with a wiping nozzle 9', whereby it is controlled to a desired coating weight.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a steel plate for vessels of superior weldability and corrosion resistance after painting by subjecting a steel plate applied with specific Ni plating to cathodic electrolysis treatment under specific conditions thereby forming a specific amount of a chromate film.
      CONSTITUTION: Ni plating of 0.015W0.300μm thicknesses is applied on the surface of a steel plate. Thence, this steel plate is subjected to cathodic electrolysis treatment in an aqueous soln. of a chromic acid anhydride of ≤1/10, more preferably ≤1/40 ratio of F
