    • The present invention is a multipart system and method for using cloth filters in automated vertical molding. The system includes a filter setter, a filter print plate and a filter back shelf. The filter setter removably mounts to a mechanical arm and releasably carries at least one cloth filter between upper and lower jaws. The filter print plate mounts to a ram plate while the filter back shelf mounts to a swing plate. During vertical molding, the ram plate and swing plate compress sand to create a mold. The mounted filter print plate creates at least part of a print aperture into which the filter setter inserts the cloth filter. The apertures created by the filter print plate and the filter back shelf support the cloth filter during the founding process.

    • A method, terminal, and system for cell reselection are disclosed. The method includes: a terminal obtains a dedicated priority list from a first system; and performs cell reselection according to the dedicated priority list when the terminal camps on a cell of a second system. The corresponding terminal and system are also provided in other embodiments of the invention. According to an embodiment of the invention, the terminal performs cell reselection by using the dedicated priority list obtained from the first system so as to free the second system from establishing the dedicated priority list. Problems in the prior arts that establishment of the dedicated priority list causes too much increased signaling and too high costs for network upgrade are solved.

    • Methods for implementing emergency services on a telephony network are presented. A server receives an indication from a telephone handset that a “panic” button has been selected. A call connection is determined and a call is connected based on instructions associated with the emergency call connection. Telecommunication devices for implementing emergency services are also presented. A handset, associated with a location identifier, includes a “panic” button and predetermined emergency call connection instructions are sent/received when the panic button is selected. The telecommunications device may include a database to store information associated with different handsets, a call processor to determine and make emergency call connections over the network when the panic button is selected, and panic logic to store preferences that control how the panic button is implemented on the system.

    • A power control method to mitigate in-device coexistence (IDC) interference is provided. A wireless communication device (UE) is equipped with a first LTE radio module and a second co-located WiFi/BT/GSNN radio module. Upon detecting coexistence or IDC interference, the UE applies power control method to mitigate the interference. In a first embodiment, the LTE radio module adjusts its power parameters locally without informing the serving eNB. In a second embodiment, the LTE radio module adjusts its power parameters and implicit informs the eNB through existing PHR reporting. In a third embodiment, the LTE radio module changes its power or power class and explicitly informs the eNB through UE capability or new RRC message or MAC CE. Power control can be used as a low cost and lightweight solution before applying other heavyweight solutions that either require more resource or control overhead, or have higher impact on throughput.
