摘要： Disclosed is an absorbent article including: a liquid-permeable topsheet on a skin surface; and a backsheet on a garment surface. First flexible hinges and second flexible hinges are formed to extend longitudinally of the absorbent article. The first flexible hinges are disposed symmetrically about a longitudinal centerline of the absorbent article to define a central absorbent portion having an absorbent layer therebetween. The second flexible hinges are disposed symmetrically about the longitudinal centerline and spaced outwardly apart from the first flexible hinges to define support portions between adjacent first and second flexible hinges and side portions outside the second flexible hinges. The first flexible hinges facilitate bending of the support portions from the central absorbent portion, and the second flexible hinges facilitate bending of the side portions from the support portions.

摘要： Apparatus for preventing water droplets from attaching onto a vehicle side window includes a window molding member along a body panel adjacent to a windshield plate and the side window, to cover a clearance between the windshield plate and the body panel. The molding member has a rear end portion near the side window, which is provided with a flap actuated by an actuator on the rear side of the flap. The flap is movable between a closed position for non-rainy condition and an open position for rainy condition in which the flap opens toward the rear side of the vehicle.

The apparatus includes a single die head formed with a common orifice and at least one additional orifice, as well as a device for selecting and controlling operational modes of the apparatus. The device may comprise a guide device which is movable between different positions corresponding to respective operational modes of the apparatus, and which serves to guide synthetic resin material extruded from the additional orifice. The guide member maintains in its one position a spaced relationship of synthetic resin materials extruded from the orifices to form one segment, and causes in another position the synthetic resin materials to adhere with each other to form another segment.

摘要： A novel method of producing molding members for automobiles, formed at least partly of a synthetic resin material is disclosed. According to the method of the invention, synthetic resin material is extrusion molded into a continuous body with a substantially constant cross-section throughout the entire length thereof. A controlled amount of the material is removed from the predetermined location of the continuous body, synchronously with the extrusion molding of the material, such that the cross-section of the continuous body varies in the longitudinal direction of the body. The continuous body subjected to the controlled removal of the material is then cut into the predetermined length of the molding member.

The machine has a vertically reciprocable frame member with a predetermined constant stroke, which carries a plurality of pressure plates cooperating with the die, respectively. Each pressure plate is axially movable with respect to the frame member and threadedly connected with a spacer plate arranged between the frame member and the pressure plate. The shut height of the machine can be individually adjusted for each pressure plate, by rotating the spacer plate relative to the pressure plate. The shut height can be optimized very easily and in short a time so that the productivity can considerably be improved.
