摘要： Implant devices and cutting clamp apparatuses and methods for creating the implants for insertion into a patient's joint to restore anatomic length and assist in final positioning of the bones following removal of cartilage and/or bone in preparation for fusion. A first implant is a biplanar implant having a shape to mimic the normal anatomical shape of the bones the implant is configured to mate with. The first implant may be cut using a cutting clamp and jig having the anatomical shape of the bones the implant will be inserted within or between. A second implant is a cylindrical piece of bone having a convex end and a concave end for mating with bones reamed to have the opposite mating surfaces. The second implant is created using cup and cone reamers having dimensions corresponding to the size of the patient's bones. Surgical methods for inserting the implants within a patient.

摘要： A network acceleration device includes a persistent, in-memory cache of network content. For example, the cache may store content in a manner that allows a software process to map virtual memory to specific, known regions of an underlying physical memory. Upon detecting a failure of a process executing within the network device, the network acceleration device may restart the software process and remap data structures of the cache to the known regions of the physical memory without necessarily requiring that the cache content be reloaded from a non-volatile memory, such as a hard drive. In this manner, the network acceleration device may accelerate download speeds by avoiding timely cache content restoration in the event of a software process failure.

The bicycle seat is comprised of upper and lower support members which are attached to a hinged plate in a clamshell design. The bicycle seat is removably attached to a bicycle frame with an attachment means in the underside of the lower support member. When removed from the bicycle frame, the bicycle seat acts as a carrying case for the storage and transport of various personal items. The upper and lower support members may be removed from the hinged plate and interchanged with other support members of varying shapes, sizes and designs to suit the physical and aesthetic needs of the bicyclist. The seat includes an indentation in the front center region of the seat to alleviate any potential pressure on the genitalia.
