Another cycloolefin copolymer composition comprising a hydrocarbon elastomer component having polymerizable double bonds and a cycloolefin copolymer component prepared by the copolymerization of a C2 or higher alpha -olefin with a cycloolefin in the presence of said elastomer component, wherein the content of the elastomer component is 1-50 wt. %. These compositions are excellent in transparency and mechanical strengths and particularly in impact resistance.

摘要： An ethylene-propylene-diene rubber which can endure the use under harsh conditions requiring dynamic and mechanical durability wherein it has been believed that only a natural rubber or a blend therewith is durable and which can impart excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and dynamic fatigue resistance. This rubber is characterized by containing sulfur dispersed therein. A preferred form of the ethylene-propylene-diene rubber comprises 90 to 40 % by weight of a high molecular weight ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (A) having an ethylene content of 60 to 82 mol.%, a limiting viscosity number [θ] of 3.0 to 5.0 dl/g as measured at 135 °C in decalin and an iodine value of 8 to 35; and 10 to 60 % by weight of a low molecular weight ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (B) having an ethylene content of 60 to 82 mol.%, a limiting viscosity number [θ] of 0.15 to 0.8 dl/g as measured at 135 °C in decalin and an iodine value of 8 to 35, the Mooney viscosity, ML1+4 (100 °C), of which is in the range of 60 to 120, and wherein sulfur is dispersed. The vulcanized rubber is suited for use in various fields, such as tire, automobile parts, general engineering parts and civil engineering building materials, especially in the fields where dynamic fatigue resistance is demanded, e.g., a muffler hanger, a belt, a rubber vibration insulator, an engine mount, a tread of a pneumatic tire, a side wall of a pneumatic tire and a white side wall.

This catalyst can be produced by introducing sulfonic acid groups and aryl groups substituted by fluorine atoms or fluoroalkyl groups into the above-described matrix. This catalyst is used in various acid-catalyzed reactions such as esterification, acylation, nitration, alkylation, etherification, etc., particularly acid-catalyzed reactions in the presence of water to show a high acid catalysis activity. 摘要： The invention relates to a process for efficiently recovering crystals from slurry for a long time by feeding a slurry to a rotary vacuum filter, filtering with suction while rotating a cylindrical filtering member, washing and again filtering with suction, which comprises applying pressure to the slurry side so as to keep the temperature and pressure at levels not making the filtrate from the rotary vacuum filter supersaturated. This process enables prevention of clogging of the filtering member due to precipitation of crystals from the mother liquor side or due to an increase in viscosity, and efficient recovery of crystals from the slurry for a long period of time. This process is adapted for recovery of crystals of crude or purified terephthalic acid, and is also applicable to recovery of crystals in general, such as hydroquinone or resorcinol, from slurry.
