    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error correction circuit and an error correction method, that can use a trellis decoder in n kinds of states, that is, a trellis decoder capable of conducting decoding in a plurality of different kinds of states, so as to decode data without producing coset.
      SOLUTION: A branch metric production circuit 201 generates each branch metric, with respect to each code data. An ACS circuit 202 sums each range metric and a path metric in each state, compares the sums, and selects the smallest sum for a new path metric in each state and stores data, corresponding to the selected path in each state to a path memory. A trace back processing circuit 204 traces back a predetermined cut-off path length along a surviving path, which contains a state whose new path metric is smallest, so as to determine data Y

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high acoustic pressure even in a low voltage by constituting a circuit so as to apply the output of a rectangular wave oscillating means on one end of the sounding body and the output of an inverting means on the other end. SOLUTION: In an oscillating circuit 2 comprising an inverter IC as a rectangular wave oscillating means, a rectangular wave is generated in the turning off state of a switch 1, its output is applied on the terminal 3-1 of a sounding body 3, the phase is inverted by an inverter circuit 4 composed of an inverter IC as an inverting means and is applied on the terminal 3-2 of the sounding body 3. In this case, the phases of the respective terminals of the sounding body 3 are reverse phases to each other and the state HIGH and LOW is repeated, the applied voltage becomes a voltage being added by the output voltage of the oscillating circut 4 and the output voltage of the inverter circuit 4 and almost twice of a power source voltage generally in the case of a high impedance load such as a piezoelectric buzzer. Consequently, since a twice voltage of the output of the oscillating circuit 2 is applicable on the sounding body 3, high acoustic pressure is obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a gas cooker in which even with any failure erroneous judgement of a combustion state is eliminated, and a switch operation is recognized on a safety side for ensurance of safety. SOLUTION: AC voltage of an AC power supply 1 is applied to a flame rod 2 for sensing a flame and is opened and closed with a phototriac 10. Upon combustion a pulse shaped flame rod current 7 flows through the flame rod 2 via a flame which is converted to a pulse shape combustion detection voltage signal 8 with a field effect transistor 3 and is inputted into a microcomputer 6. The combustion detection voltage signal 8 and the waveform of a switching pulse 9 for driving the triac 10 are compared, and if they are same phase, then it is judged that the state is a combustion state while if 0 volt level, then it is judged the state is a non-combustion state. In this case, when the field effect transistor 8 is opened and troubled after the detection of combustion, voltage of a drain 4 becomes a constant level of DC 5V so that the failure can be judged for discrimination of the combustion state and the trouble state.
