    • PURPOSE: A communication scheme for a femto base station in consideration of the state of a service target terminal is provided to efficiently use a legacy system region and an improved system region within a wireless frame according to the state of a service target terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a legacy mobile station does not exist in a femto BS(Base Station) coverage, a femto base station applies an LDM(Low Duty Mode) to an L region of a wireless frame. In the case of the L region of the wireless frame, the femto base station sets up the non-execution for certain signaling during a UAI(Unavailable Interval) and performs a general operation during an AI(Available Interval). If the legacy mobile station enters a corresponding femto base station, the femto base station switches the femto base station into an active mode through the overlayed macro BS.

    • PURPOSE: An entry restriction scheme for femto abs is provided to efficiently perform a communication among macro base station, femto base station and the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A non-member terminal receives a preamble and SFH(Super Frame Header) of the CSG(Closed Subscriber Group) closed femto base station(S601). The terminal transmits the ranging code(S602). The terminal receives a ranging acknowledgement message(S603). In case the ranging state is succeed, the terminal transmits the ranging request message to the femto base station(S604). The femto base station always establishes the CSG cell bar of the ranging response message as 1(S605). The terminal does not attempt to enter into the corresponding femto base station.
