    • A solid insulated bus switchgear, comprising: a cabinet having unit rooms defined by a ground metal plate on a front side thereof and a bus room defined by a ground metal plate on a rear side thereof; a first switching unit and a second switching unit, each of which has a circuit breaker, a current transformer, a zero-phase sequence current transformer, and an instrument voltage transformer, the first switching unit and the second switching unit being vertically stacked in the cabinet; main buses, which are solid-insulated, placed in the bus room in the cabinet in the width direction of the cabinet; a communication bus, which is solid-insulated, linked to the main buses, and connected to one end of the first switching unit at one end and to one end of the second switching unit at another end; and a first leader bus and a second leader bus, which are solid-insulated, the first leader bus being connected to another end of the first switching unit, the second leader bus being connected to another end of the second switching unit; wherein each of the first switching unit and the second switching unit has a movable cart, the circuit breaker mounted on the cart, and a frame assembly, to which the current transformer, the zero-phase sequence current transformer, and the instrument voltage transformer are attached, and standing on the cart to cover the outer circumferences of three planes (front and both sides) of the circuit breaker; and two terminals are vertically disposed upside or downside on the back of the circuit breaker, one being connected to a fixed electrode of the circuit breaker and the other being connected to a movable electrode of the circuit breaker, the two terminals being connected to the communication bus and to the first leader bus or second leader bus through air bushings provided on the cabinet so as to move away from and toward the communication bus and the first leader bus or the second leader bus.

    • A main circuit switching unit and an isolator are accommodated in a vacuum container. A first conductor and a main circuit conductor are arranged to extend in and out of the vacuum container. A movable electrode of the main circuit switching unit is connected to the first conductor through a first flexible conductor, and a movable electrode of the isolator is connected to the main circuit conductor through a second flexible conductor. A shield is arranged around the first conductor and the main circuit conductor. Another shield is arranged around a connecting portion between the first flexible conductor and the movable electrode of the main circuit switching unit. A still another shield is arranged around the isolator. A further another shield is arranged around the second flexible conductor. These shields are secured to the vacuum container through insulating spacers. This arrangement instantly eliminates a dielectric breakdown phenomenon that occurs at electric field concentrated regions by the shields to prevent a dielectric breakdown caused by particulate foreign matters and thereby improve an insulation reliability of the devices.

    • Disclosed is a vacuum switchgear comprising an electro-conductive outer vacuum container, a plurality of inner container disposed in the outer vacuum container. The inner containers and the outer container are electrically isolated from each other. The outer container is made of stainless steel plate, for example. One of the inner vacuum containers accommodates a ground switch for keeping the circuit open while the switchgear is opened, having a movable electrode connected to an operating mechanism, and a fixed electrode connected to fixed electrode rod. Another inner vacuum container accommodates a function switch capable of having at least one of functions of a circuit breaker, a disconnector and a load switch. A plurality of electrode shields each surrounds the electrodes of the ground switch and of the function switch. The ground switch and the function switch are disposed in separate vacuum inner containers, respectively.

    • An insulation gas filled circuit breaker in which a circuit breaking portion including two separably opposing contacts and a capacitor connected in parallel between the two contacts in the circuit breaking portion are disposed in a closed metal container filled with gas having an insulating property. A shield is provided at both the side of the capacitor facing the circuit breaking portion and the side of the capacitor facing the closed metal container for relaxing the electric field concentration near the capacitor. The top end of the shield is positioned so as to extend from the contacting face between the capacitor and an electrode pressing the capacitor toward the capacitor by a predetermined distance, whereby the dielectric strength of the capacitor connected in parallel with the circuit breaking portion is increased and a highly reliable and compact insulation gas filled circuit breaker of a high voltage and a large capacity use is provided.
