    • PURPOSE:To efficiently perform high-quality site treatment for the surface of metallic material by leaching paste for surface treatment which is supplied through the outflow ports provided to the outer circumferential face of a rotatably driven roll for an electrode via a cylindrical pad brought into contact with the metallic material. CONSTITUTION:Paste 12 for surface treatment of metallic material is supplied into a hollow columnar roll 16 for an electrode from a paste tank 28 with a pump 30 and thereafter allowed to flow cut through a plurality of outflow ports 56 bored to the outer circumferential face thereof. Furthermore a cylindrical pad 22 covering the roll 16 for the electrode is impregnated with paste 12 and this paste 12 is leached on the outer circumferential face thereof. The roll 16 for the electrode is rotated and driven by a roll driving system 18 contg. a motor 40. Together therewith, the pad 22 is rotated and driven to the direction reverse to the roll 16 by a pad driving source 24 consisting of a motor 48 and a rotary shaft 50 and brought into contact with metallic material 14. In this state, current is allowed to flow between the roll 16 and the metallic material 14 via this paste 12 by a power source device 26 and thereby electrolytic treatment of the surface of metallic surface 14 is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heat pipe manufactured at a low cost and excellent in a heat transferability by forming in a specified thickness a layer coated with one or more members of metals selected form a group consisting of Cr, Ti, Cu, Ni and Al, on the inner surface of a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A layer coated with one or more members of metals selected from a group consisting of Cr, Ti, Cu, Ni, Pb and Al is formed in a thickness of 5-100mum. The temperature at the central port of the pipe is assumed Ta and that at the tip end of the pipe Tc as a method of representing the deterioration of the heat transfer property caused by the generation of H2 due to corrosion of the heat pipe. At that time, when no corrosion occurs and no H2 is generated, Ta becomes substantially equal to To, and the difference T= Ta-Tc becomes zero. In a pipe coated on its inner surface with any of metals such as Cr, Ti, Cu and Al in a thickness of 6mum or more the value of T becomes 10 deg.C or less so that an excellent heat transferability can be maintained. On the other hand, even when the thickness of the metal is 100mum or more, the effect is not exhanced so much, and hence in consideration of economity, it is necessary to make it 100mum or less.
