      SOLUTION: A link is formed with a front through-hole 7 and a rear through-hole 8 arranged in the direction X of chain movement. A pillar 9 is provided between these through-holes 7, 8. Protruding portions 26, 29 are provided in a central portion of the pillar 9 in a height direction V of the pillar 9. Recessed curved portions 27, 28, 30, 31 are provided in both ends of the pillar 9. A pair of flat portions (33, 34 and 38, 39) for regulating overshoot of the chain 1 is provided in each of the protruding portions 26, 29. Pins, not shown, each loosely fitted into the front and rear through-holes 7, 8 abut on corresponding flat portions 27, 28, 30, 31, thereby regulating the overshoot of the chain 1.

      SOLUTION: Each link 2 includes through-holes 9, 10 and a columnar portion 8 for partitioning the through-holes 9, 10 from each other. First and second pins 3, 4 are inserted through the through-holes 9, 10, respectively. A pair of side parts 35, 36 of the columnar portion 8 include mountain portions, respectively. The ridge portions have pairs of slopes 40, 41, 43, 44. A restriction portion provided on each of the pair of slopes 40, 41 can abut on the corresponding first pin 3. Similarly, a restriction portion provided on each of the pair of slopes 43, 44 can abut on the corresponding second pin 4. Thus, a relative rotation angle range between the links 2 adjacent to each other in a chain moving direction X is restricted.
