CONSTITUTION: When the outer peripheral surface of a tightening ring 3 which makes contact with the inside diameter surface of a box nut 2 is applied with the slide surface work, the propagation of the torsional pressure due to the turn of the box nut to a soft coupling pipe P by the tightening ring for tightening-fixing the end part of the soft pipe is prevented. Accordingly, the inside diameter surface of the taper hole of the box nut 2 slides on the ring edge 31 which is slide-surface-worked and is screwed, and the tightening of the box nut free from torsion is carried out, preventing the propagation of the force in the turning direction to the soft pipe, and the reduction of the endurance years of the soft pipe due to the torsion and the deterioration of the softness due to the fatigue of the material can be effectively prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater to effectively utilize remaining hot water in a bathtub. SOLUTION: This water heater comprises a circulation flow passage 2 to circulate remaining hot water in a bathtub 1 ; and a heat-exchanger 13 for hot water supply situated on a flow passage 12 for hot water supply. A temperature sensor 5 of a remaining hot water temperature detecting means and a pump 7 for circulation are situated on the circulation flow passage 2. Water flowing through the heat-exchanger 13 for hot water supply is heated by a gas burner 14. Further, a temperature sensor 15 of a supply water temperature detecting means to detect the temperature of supply water to the heat-exchanger 13 for hot water supply is situated on the flow passage 12 for hot water supply. A liquid-liquid heat-exchanger 10 is provided to perform heat-exchange between remaining hot water flowing through the circulation flow passage 2 and supply water for the heat-exchanger 13 for hot water supply. A bypass flow passage 2B running through the liquid-liquid heat-exchanger 10 is situated on the circulation flow passage 2 and a bypass valve 9 is situated on the bypass flow passage 2B. The bypass valve 9 is controlled in a manner to be opened when remaining hot water in the bathtub 1 is utilized.

SOLUTION: A collar 5 for a connecting operation is provided at a site of an outer periphery of a joint body between a tube connecting portion 3 and a joint connecting portion 4. A disengaging operating portion 23 for operating disengaging of an engaging means S of an engaged state is provided to be extended from a site 22 of an outer peripheral side of an engaging means support 21 to one end side. The portion 23 is extended to the tube connecting portion side along a lengthwise axis Z from the support 21 provided from the collar 5 to the joint connecting portion side, is disposed in a buffering positonal relation with respect to the lengthwise axis Z, but is provided at a different position in a circumferential direction Z2 around the lengthwise axis. Thus, this buffering can be avoided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for heat source machine the terminal equipment side of which can be inspected for airtightness in a state where the leaking out of a fluid for inspection can be avoided surely. SOLUTION: A coupling HD1 (HD2) for heat source machine is provided with a heat source machine-side connecting section 40, a terminal-side connecting section 35 to which terminal equipment-side heating medium flowing pipes 20 and 21 are connected, and a connecting section 41 for inspection to which a supply pipe 45 for supplying a fluid for inspection is connected, all of which are provided communicatively with each other. The coupling HD1 (HD2) is also provided with a change-over valve 42 which can be freely switched between an inspection state where the communication between the connecting sections 40 and 35 is interrupted and a heating medium flowing state in which the connecting sections 30 and 35 are communicated with each other by canceling the interruption. The connecting section 41 for inspection is provided with a check valve 43 which allows the flow of the fluid for inspection supplied from the supply pipe 45 and, at the same time, inhibits the reverse flow of the fluid in the direction opposite to the flowing direction.
