    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-Ni-Cr alloy which has a heat resistant property neither insufficient nor excessive as a heat-resistant spring when used at an elevated temperature, i.e. >500°C and ≤600°C, and is suitable for producing a spring with an improved resistance to permanent set at a relatively low cost, and thereby to enable the production of an inexpensive and highly durable spring.
      SOLUTION: The Fe-Ni-Cr alloy for the heat-resistant spring has an alloy composition comprising, by weight, 0.01-0.10% C, ≤2.0% Si, ≤2.0% Mn, 20-45% Ni, 10-25% Cr, 0.2-1.5% Al, 1.5-4.0% Ti, 0.1-2.0% Nb+Ta, 0.001-0.010% B and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. The spring is produced by forming the alloy into a rod or a plate and subjecting it to solution treatment, cold working with a working rate of ≥20% and aging treatment at 600-800°C for 0.5-24 hr.
