    • PURPOSE:To improve observation ability from a passenger room as necessary strength is ensured, by a method wherein a boxform reinforcing frame body having thickness thicker than those of a side structure, a roof structure, and an underframe is formed at a boundary between the driver cab of a rolling stock having a curve glass window ranging from a front to sides and a passenger room. CONSTITUTION:By using a curve glass window 7 extending from the one side to the other side around a front, a reinforcing frame body 10 is situated at a boundary between a driver cab 18 of a rolling stock having a front end structure 4 being opened widely and a passenger room 17. The reinforcing frame 10 is formed in a boxform manner in a state to protrude toward the indoor side by a size higher than those of a side structure 2, a roof structure 3, and an underframe, and is coupled with the side structures 2, the roof structure 3, and the underframe to form an integral annular frame body. This constitution eliminates the need to mount a stud and a corner strut in order for reinforcement of a front large window opening, and enables improvement of observation ability from a passenger room as necessary strength is ensured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise in a vehicle without sticking a vibration damping material to the car body by mutually deviating the natural frequency of the car body, the natural frequency of a carriage, and the natural frequency of a tractive device connecting the car body to the carriage. SOLUTION: A rolling stock 1 is constituted of a car body 2 which is constituted by combiningly joining an underframe, side structure, a roof structure, and an end structure, a carriage 3 for supporting the car body 2, and a tractive device 4 for connecting the car body 22 to the carriage 3. The vehicle 1 is constituted by arranging appropriate members in such a state that the natural frequency of the car body 2, the natural frequency of the carriage 3, and the natural frequency of the tractive device 4 are mutually deviated. The natural frequency of the tractive device 4 is calculated by using a prescribed equation based on the spring constant of a buffer rubber. This constitution can reduce the high frequency vibration by the driving of the carriage 3, prevent the resonance of the side structure or the roof structure, and reduce the noise of the compartment of the rolling stock 1.
