摘要： A thermoplastic film is provided which is especially suited for use in stretch/cling applications such as, for example, the bundling, packaging and unitizing of foods and other goods. The film comprises a cling layer comprising a polyethylene, preferably low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and a compatible tackifier. The LLDPE has a density of from about 0.87 to about 0.92 g/cc, a melt index of from about 1 to about 30 dg/min and a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight (M.sub.w /M.sub.n) less than about 6. The blend has a glass transition temperature of about 0.degree. C. or less. The film may be a one-sided cling film having a polyolefin slip layer opposite the cling layer.

摘要： Methods and systems for reducing fouling, including particulate-induced fouling, in a hydrocarbon refining process including the steps of providing a crude hydrocarbon for a refining process and adding an antifouling agent containing a polymer base unit and a polyamine group to the crude hydrocarbon are provided. The antifouling agent can be obtained by converting a vinyl terminated polymer, such as polypropylene or poly(ethylene-co-propylene), to a terminal acyl containing functional group, followed by reacting the terminal acyl containing functional group with a polyamine compound.

The copolymer comprises at least 80 wt % of units derived from propylene and from about 1 to about 20 wt % of units derived from at least one C6 to C12 alpha-olefin. The copolymer has a viscosity at 190° C. of at least 530 mPa sec and a heat of fusion between about 10 and about 70 J/g. An adhesive containing the copolymer exhibits a good balance of adhesive properties and mechanical strength.
