    • An injection unit of an injection molding machine capable of preventing a displacement of an axis of a heating barrel and an axis of an injection screw and facilitating a nozzle axis adjustment. A front plate supporting a heating barrel is fixed to a base with a height-adjusting mechanism located in-between. A rear plate is connected to the front plate by connecting members symmetrically arranged. The injection screw inserted in the heating barrel is rotatably supported by a pusher plate to which a ball nut is fixed. A ball screw engaged with the ball nut is rotatably supported by the rear plate. The pusher plate is supported and guided by the support/guide member, and moves forward to inject resin by the rotation of the ball screw. The support/guide member is supported by a supporting member fixed to the front plate. Being independent of the connecting members that are deformed to be elongated at the time of the injection, the pusher plate remains uninfluenced, making it possible to prevent the displacement of the axes of the heating barrel and the injection screw.

    • An injection unit in which an offset load is not applied to a ball screw for moving an injection screw. A pusher plate is provided that is moved while being guided by guide rods extending between front and rear plates, and is mounted with the injection screw and the ball screw so as to be rotatable but axially immovable. The ball screw is threadedly engaged with a nut mounted to the rear plate so as to be unrotatable and axially immovable. A support plate is coupled through coupling rods to the pusher plate. The ball screw has another end supported on the support plate in a rotatable but axially immovable manner. The pusher and support plates are supported on a base by linear motion guides. The ball screw is supported at its both ends by the pusher and support plates so as not to be tilted, whereby no offset load is produced and the service life is prolonged.

    • An image recorder is provided. For mounting two plates on a drum, two side-to-side adjustment sections are used. Each of the side-to-side adjustment sections includes an outer nut portion and an inner nut portion movable by respective ball screws in a first direction perpendicular to a second direction in which the plates are fed. When a plate is fed with reference to the center of the drum as seen in the first direction, the inner nut portion is pivoted about the corresponding ball screw aside to a location such as not to hinder the movement of the plate. Thus, when a plurality of side-to-side adjustment sections are provided for side-to-side adjustment of plates, at least one of the side-to-side adjustment sections which is not in use is prevented from interfering with the plates.

    • A transistor of a driver in the semiconductor integrated circuit according to the present invention has its gate connected to a controlling circuit, and has its drain connected to a sense amplifier. The controlling circuit supplies the gate of the transistor with a gate-to-source voltage exceeding or below other power supply voltages. The drain-to-source resistance of the transistor in the on state becomes sufficiently lower as compared with that in the case of supplying the power supply voltages between the gate and source of the transistor. Accordingly, the amplifying speed of the sense amplifier is heightened without altering the sense amplifier and the driver. Besides, the amplifying speed of the sense amplifier is heightened without raising the power supply voltage which supplies the carriers to the driver. The semiconductor memory device according to the present invention switches the driving supply voltage for the sense amplifier from the first supply voltage, to the second supply voltage lower than the first voltage. The timing at which the first supply voltage is switched to the second supply voltage is controlled in accordance with the voltage on a dummy bit line which is driven by a monitoring sense amplifier. Accordingly, even when the driving speed of the sense amplifier using the overdriving system has fluctuated due to the fluctuation of the first supply voltage, the driving supply voltage of the sense amplifier can be always switched to the second supply voltage at the appropriate timing.
