The method includes: receiving a first message sent by a base station, where the first message includes a master information block MIB or downlink control information; determining, according to the first message, scheduling information of a physical downlink shared channel PDSCH corresponding to the first message, where the scheduling information includes scheduling information of a PDSCH corresponding to system information in the MIB or in the downlink control information; determining, according to the scheduling information, transmission information of the PDSCH corresponding to the system information, where the transmission information includes at least one of the following information: whether the system information exists, a transmission subframe of the system information, a modulation and coding mode of the PDSCH corresponding to the system information, and resource allocation information of the PDSCH corresponding to the system information; and receiving the system information according to the transmission information of the PDSCH corresponding to the system information. In this way, an extra overhead of a control instruction when a PDCCH is used to schedule a SIB in the prior art is reduced.

    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a PUSCH transmission method and apparatus, so as to invoke a special subframe to perform PUSCH transmission. The method includes: sending, in a first subframe, downlink control signaling that instructs user equipment UE to transmit a physical uplink shared channel PUSCH, where the downlink control signaling carries downlink control information, and the downlink control information is used to indicate a subframe for transmitting the PUSCH, where the subframe for transmitting the PUSCH is any one of or any combination of N subframes, the N subframes include a special subframe, and N is an integer not less than 1; and receiving the PUSCH in the subframe indicated by the downlink control information. It can be seen that, in the embodiments of the present invention, a subframe in which a PUSCH is transmitted and that is indicated by downlink control information includes a special subframe; therefore, the special subframe can be scheduled to transmit the PUSCH.

The technical solution provided in embodiments of the present invention can solve the problem that the capability of performing channel estimation for an ePDCCH by using a reference signal sequence is reduced since the reference signal sequence cannot be transmitted through an antenna port in the case that the number of the antenna ports is limited.
